  Salt or Sweet ?

  which is your favorite to munch on at the movies?

  salty popcorn or a pack of gummie bears and chocolate bar?

  went to the show for cheap night and it cost more for the damn junk food..no one could decide on either one or the other so we bought both...your opinon?

  lose my standing in the congregation,but my duties vanished 2 years ago anyway,no one has commited adultery in the relationship.

  and its odd if i had slept with another woman,i could divorce,return to the hall, sit there like a stone for 8 months to a year,get reinstated,and become and elder 1 day.

  is that insane or what?

  The Revolving Door; Does Nobody Notice?

  think about a typical dub.. you get brought into the truth.

  the person that brought you into the truth brings in, say, 2 people.

  yourself and another... 1 person stays, the other leaves.

  The cong I grew up in is close to the same as it always was. One guy gets dfd and reinstated all the time for smoking. A few families moved away but they are still 'in'. The revolving of babies being born and by the time they get to their teen years every couple years a group gets into trouble and reproved but for the most part they come back. That hall has barely changed at all in all the yrs.

  I had a friend who was two yrs older than me in the hall. We have been friends most of our lives. The past few years we haven't kept in touch. I know where she is but haven't contacted her in a long time. Kind of sad but lives change. I know I've changed and she is still active as a JW.

  yep, it's my 1,000th post.

  i guess that makes me a jedi upon my next post.

  i had a speech prepared... but oh well.... i'd just like to thank my parents for giving me this computer, crazy mocha coffee company for letting me borrow their network card for months at a stretch, upmc for giving me a job with night shift access to the internet, and my wife for keeping me alive for almost two years now.. thank you, thank you, thank you, all of you.

  Disassociation and Ray Franz

  does anyone think that the rule which states that "associating with a disassociated person is a disfellowshipping offense" was created to disfellowship ray franz?

  the reason i ask this is because i noticed that the watchtower published many articles with that rule at the same time period franz left bethal, but published nothing about it before around 1981.

  2day i have managed 2 get back on line.. incidently how every1 been keeping while i couldn't logon.. u might like 2 know every1 that i have working on how 2 crack the lottery.. i may have succeeded in a certain way.. .

  wow I feel like I was in a coma and just woke up. I didn't know anything ever happened with Franz. I thought he died "faithful" to the end.. I met him once at a convention. I talked to people who knew him at Bethel well, I had no clue there were ever problems with him.. maybe I do need to do some reading and catch up.

  Burnt from a blanket

  yes, you heard correctly.....on this past weekend i plugged in our electric blanket and put it on my bed...i turned it on to warm it up a bit like i always usally do before going to bed in the fall and winter.....it was on for about a half hour or so then i decided to crawl in....it was about 3 in the morning and i woke up to my leg burning ....no kidding....the blanket had been so hot that it burnt a hole through it and went through my p.j's and burnt my leg.....was i ever upset about the whole thing....i went to sears yesterday.

  ( that is where the blanket was purchased) and apparently they had a recall on their "sears" brand blankets last year...know one ever contacted me to tell me this....needless to say they replaced my blanket and all i got was a "we are sorry"... i found the clerk to be rather rude about the whole thing.....i asked for her superviser but she was out to lunch as well......i just feel it could have been delt with a little more tlc.....i mean i did get burnt that did blister... i then asked her this question ".what if that had been a child?

  " her responce was, you are not suppose to use these blankets on infants.....i then said " i said child not infat" do you think i should leave this matter or take it to a higher person in the company?
