Even at the time it seemed a little out of place and was commented on.The context was a term of affection on the stage between the two but it showed no sensitivity for the situation. How badly is this regarded in the old country ?? Is it on par with other racial slurs ??

i'm really looking for basic judicial committee meetings, the ones where the scriptual basis is in question is ok like jim rizoli's or anton from watchtower uk outreach but i'm really looking for just a run of the mill judiciary committee meeting (ie fornication, etc.
) any help is greatly appreciated.

I do believe that many times they ask if you have and are TAPE RECORDING the JC.

Poztate, I just wanted to mention to you that in the 1960s there was no elder arrangement it didn't come into effect until 1971/72 Not picking on you just thought you'd like to know.OOPS....Slip of the brain cells.That is what happens when you get old and senile...

many of the people on this site say that they are apostates.
but that is not the way i feel about myself.. i am not angry with the "witnesses" or the organisation, i don't feel that i wasted my life.
i just think that i was stupid to believe it for 30 years (well sort of believe it, i did have severe doubts on and off).

instead of allowing the elders to run roughshod over us, i think we should start thinking of how to get to them before they try to impose their will upon us.
some may not care if the elders and society suddenly went after us.
but just out of principle, we should not let them do anything they want to us in their shunning treatment.
I just see it as a self destructive move to DA inactive people. I really think that would implode the org faster than anything. Ofcourse they could be that stupid and if they are, well great. No more org as we know it.
We can always hope I don't think at the local level there will be much enthusiasm for this idea of DF'ing the inactives. It's hard to second guess this. The trend has been to get meaner but maybe a more conservative viewpoint is coming out and the tide is turning. In either event I see them hurting,bleeding and loosing a lot of their flock. No downside there.
In spite of all the talk about sheep remember that in the end the sheep were fleeced and then eaten. That seems to describe the WT and their policies.
does anyone here remember nursing their babies at the meetings and/or assemblies before the laws that protected the ability to do so in public were passed in the us?
was it any easier to do in other parts of the world?.

In fact in the province of Ontario a women can go out in public with her breast fully exposed and not be arrested.
If I remember correctly it involved a woman who decided to go topless while mowing her grass in the summer.
She was arrested and charged with indecent exposure. She won the case. It was a great day for freedom and justice in Ontario.
The only problem was that for months afterwards I "raced" out of the house whenever I heard a lawnmower starting up.

I posted this comment on another thread.It seems to fit quite well here.
It is their religion and they can do what they want to.
....AND also if they ever want to start DA'ing the dropouts(they can make up new rules) I can honestly say I didn't quit,just slowed down a lot. I am just a poor weak lost sheep.
