i was raised a jehovah's witness and like most are aware, they presently belive that by and large everyone who dies ceases to exist.
i accepted this fate for most of my life and i guess i still do for the most part, but now that i do not go to the meetings what am i to accept death to be, as i will die as well as my friends and family at some point.
i think that idea of being in gods memory made sense to me as i have excepted it for forty five of my fifty years of being alive.
I'm sure we will come back as something else to have another life. I wanna be a Cat

well, the shunning begins.
we finally had "the" discussion with my parents, that we no longer consider ourselves jw's, and a little bit of why we felt that way.
of course, "dad the elder and po" and mom the pioneer dutifully informed us that not only will they be "loyal to the organization" and shun us completely, but that he would immediately let the other elders know, so that proper judicial action could be taken.. it was a heart wrenching discussion, with all of us, including my two young boys (9 and 10) all balling our eyes out.
I'm sorry i hope everything turns out ok in the end!

my son and i were chatting on msn earlier today (errrr yesterday) and fortunately we were also talking on the phone because he was making no sense.
he kept typing "fart" and "burp" (he's only 7) and he was giggling like mad.
my son is a typical boy....lol!
I have hilarious conversations with everyone
me and my friend were hanging out at the mall, and I would crack a joke every once and awhile to see how she would react and she actually found me funny... she doesnt usually but we have hilarious conversations all the time on msn and on the phone alot too

as a kid i would try to pay attention, but i just couldn't hang in there.
if i didn't day dream i was going to go insane.. i used to create scenarios in my mind that i was a jw super hero.
i had a special costume that was partially made of "flubber" that would allow me to bounce all over the auditorium.
I would always sit there, try to pay attention, but i would slowly wonder off and think about me playing at a play ground with my friends like i usualy did... and when it was gonna be over.
Or i would draw.

funny article on msn...
"what's your sign?".
the epitome of cheese, this line, which has been around since the beatles came to america, ranks as the very worst line in dating history.
