  i realised something today.... we all happily accepted something really ridiculous.....something that if worded how i will word it now, we would have rejected as ridiculous, but after a moments thought, would have to concede.. we once followed the governing body because we believed they had supernatural powers.

  how ridiculous you may say, no we didn't!

  Help! I'm drowning!

  my wife and sons don't know how far i have gone in withdrawing from the organization in my heart.

  i've been faking family worship.

  i got angry and almost showed it while watching the march tv.org.

  I can't see attending the meetings for any reason.

  I tried. After a few times of literally walking out in tears during the concluding prayer, I called it quits for good.

  Go at your pace. Seems to be different for everyone.

  if you are willing to pay attention to the org's history and do any kind of unbiased personal research, it's impossible to miss ttatt.. watchtower's publication archive provides all the information anyone would ever need.where are all of the "half truths and outright lies" actually coming from?

  ( old light ).

  why, oh why, back in 1989 when i first got hooked did i not do any research into the watchtower corporation?.

  Why, oh why, back in 1989 when I first got hooked did I not do any research into the Watchtower corporation?

  If you aren't sure what to do, ask yourself:
  Why would Jehovah give information to HIS chosen people that would need constant changes, refinements and radical modifications, if he only dispenses truth?

  When we clearly see that the WTBTS has been making changes after failed prophecies for it's entire history, we'll then notice it's the Watchtower that made us apostates.

  Oh Damn...I have been sprung!

  i knew it could happen one day...yet i was so careful..... sitting at the sound cabinet, i had our awesome forum open on my tablet, and didn't see the microphone brother looking over at me...... he wandered over and asked me "whats that site?".

  i quickly responded "oh, i googled to get to our jw.org site, and this must have popped up" while quickly closing it.... he didn't look too fussed, but my heart was beating..... he is pretty chilled out and certainly not an "uber-dub"...but this was a wake up call to be more careful...i am fading fast, but don't want anymore attention from the nazi-elders while doing so!.

  i had a photo copy of the magazine "the generation that will never die!

  " sitting in my office, he saw it and being the voracious reader he is, he asked me "why did the magazine say all those people would never die?

  " i told him "humans make mistakes, they were wrong by claiming that.

  This comments are wonderful.

  It must be stressful to try and fight of men that once stated they loved and cared you when they are actively, in their minds, trying to assure your everlasting destruction and removal from further communication with family and friends.
