Important questions about Paradise Earth and human perfection

but big enough to have a figure .

Millions now Living Will Never Die

this is the title of a watchtower book published 95 years ago in 1920 by j f rutherford.

it still gets an occasional mention at meetings about how it was a turning point in the history of the watchtower.

but how many witnessess today can answer this question.who are these millions of people alive in 1920 that would never die?

and to think i had an old old book with a blue or red cant recall, cover that was printed in the 1900s by russel, and i tossed it out becasue it was moldy smelling grrr.

any time i might mention older teachings like this to any jw that i might speak to they automatically say oh those old things were when they did not understand what God was trying to tell us , 'weve' since been 'refined' and have come to understand that those were wrong.

guess God isnt allowing anyone else to be 'refined' . how does anyone argue that point without laughing.

and to think yesterday, my own mother who is 72 said that i should ask the c.o. thats visiting next week , one of my questions.

I felt like shaking her, shes OLDER than the co! she should KNOW the 'answer'!

i said to her, did you know that jws do not teach that jesus is the mediator for all man? she looked at me funny.

I said yea, I had no idea myself, but, its in one of the magazines, and a book, it says that he is the mediator only for the 144000, and jesus is our ransomer.

so it makes us question, Who do i pray through if he isnt my mediator? [and thats what she told me to ask the C.O.]

which isnt what i get when reading the bible do you?

and she said ,' well youll have to show me that article.'

well, had the book i have of hers, her still been at her house where i got it, id have shown her. i can get it to show her then she will say to me thats an old book. hmm the prince of peace book is 'old' now. i remember studying that at the book study.

but at her age i dont like to argue religion. its pointless. she is going to believe what she wants

so i dont know why she feels the need to bring up religion every time i see her.

its like an illness.

i dont think there is a full download of that on line, but if someone actually has a cd from a computer from say 2005, then you could have all the stuff back before 1950, which is where my 2012 cd stops.

you can always find individual article downloads from some sources that you have to search for.

Why do "Apostates/exjws" always go into "Watchtower-bashing" when you show them inconsistencies in the Bible?

i have noticed with "apostates/exjws" they always resort to "watchtower-bashing" whenever you show them inconsistencies of the bible.

we could be talking about contradictions, such as where did cain get his wife if adam,eve, abel, and cain were the only ones on earth?

the usual answer when they cannot answer will be "well the wt gave false prophecies in 1975".

as far as im concerned, all religion is in opposition to the creator.

ok, new can of worms,

jesus preached the kingdom, but were led to believe by the writter of corinthians,

that we cant preach a different message

that all we need to do is believe on the lord and well be saved.

[ jws preach the kindgom of jehovah, which is why so many people think they dont believe in jesus.]

doesnt say anything about getting baptised by water,

because i think that baptism was for the nation israel to prove they accepted Jeusus as thier savior[repent and be baptised]

ill perhaps post this for all to answer on i never did think that we were to continue in water baptism.

for one thing, i cant get past genesis, but no matter.. when god told adam and eve if you eat from the tree youll die.

so why did he not simple let them die and not allow the offspring to?.

you see, if i was a god, and i told two people that, id let them die , .

so the governing body likes to keep claiming incredible growth.

at the same time they claim bible studies are way down.

are the finally admitting what we've known all along, that they can no longer recruit outsiders?

the population of new jersey is higher than the number of Jws world wide.

the population of earth proves that jws are one in [so many] million. im not doin the math

such a shame, they could have turned out to be a nice little normal christain congregation.

Shunning Disfellowshipped & Apostate family Members. Scriptural?

anyone who is a witness or was previously a witness, is aware of the written & un-written rules concerning association with disfellowshipped family members.. there are a multitude of quotes through out the watchtower publications, but these 2 will suffice.. "are you proving yourself holy by not associating with family members or others who are disfellowshipped?

"the clear instruction in the bible is: avoid them.

that means that we have to stay away from them... the bible says that apostates are mentally diseased and that they use their teachings to make others think like them... what must we do to avoid false teachers?

i love it dont you, when the articles say the bible or jehovah 'says' something when they never did.

the bible says apostates are mentally deseased? where does it say anything close to that?

the people that i have know to be disfellowshiped were df becasue they were drinking to cope with depression, lonely and desperate for affection, or not living 'up' to someones standards.

yea, thats how LOVING the organization is, lets punish depressed people with more depressing loneliness and feelings of guilt!!

we all know what the bible does say about people who have went through some issues , 2nd corinthians 2 vs 6 thu 11

some elderly governing body members have a bad way of using thier odd sense of humor, they try to be funny and end up doing more damage.

they should probably have never gotten into the limelight.

its like grandpa went on a rant, and now grandma has to bake cookies and try to make everyone forget about it.
