  yeah, so shamima begum's challenge has failed.. the ruling body has declared that the home secretary's stripping of her citizenship in 2016 was lawful.. there are some people who say she was somehow 'groomed' but this is complete bullshit.

  first new zealand's dictator resigned and now nicola sturgeon the first minister of scotland has announced her intention to go.. nobody is certain exactly what the trigger was but there are plenty of possibilities.

  the final straw may have been her 'gender recognition' act that would have made it possible for anybody 16 and over to legally change their sex on a whim.

  the vast majority of scots were opposed but she battered the legislation through holyrood regardless.

  Good riddance to bad rubbish.

  Nicola Sturgeon is a political failure.

  She failed on her pledge to improve education - education in Scotland has gotten worse on her watch.

  There is also a serious amount of people on hard drugs. She has failed to tackle this properly.

  She also failed to get independence for Scotland. A clear majority of Scots chose to stay in the UK in 2014. Sturgeon could never accept this result, and planned another referendum. She was even given good conditions for a yes-vote because the majority of Scots voted to remain in the EU in 2016 - perfect for her grievance politics of victimhood. But she has failed in this, her core cause. Independence from the UK is further away now than at any time in the last ten years.

  the claim that russia blew up its own pipeline functions, whether intentionally or not, as a test of our collective intelligence, and it’s worrisome how many fail the test.

  as a former pentagon official put it, “a child could tell you that doesn’t make sense”.

  they talk a lot about russian propaganda and suppression of their media, which i don’t doubt for a minute.

  There have been reports that Russia's pipeline to Germany, Nord Stream, is leaking gas. Mainstream media have been very quick to speculate that Putin has sabotaged his own equipment.

  What has most definitely not been explored, however, is the possibility that someone else other than Russia has damaged Nord Stream, either deliberately or accidentally.

  nicola sturgeon's daft plan to introduce a gender bill which allows anyone aged 16 and over to legally change gender without a doctor's diagnosis of gender dysphoria has rightly been stopped by pm rishi sunak.. under the rules of devolvement, the uk government can overrule holyrood if the pm so chooses.. lots of predictable howling form the scotch nuts, with ridiculous claims that rishi is trying to organise a fight with holyrood.

  of course, it's actually the other way round - the snp has been trying to pass this gender bill in order to drive a wedge between scotland and the rest of the uk.. sensibly, rishi has pulled rank on sturgeon and stopped her nonsense.. nicola sturgeon needs to know her place ....

  Of course, the most common type of violent crime is cis male on cis male violence. So, the world is more dangerous for cis men than any other group.

  But what has all this got to do with Scotland's gender Bill?

  A Bill which would allow people to change gender without a doctor's certificate of gender dysphoria is obviously frought with danger. If you cannot see this then you're a bit of an idiot, frankly.

  And yet it's very strange the way pricks such as Boris Johnson talk about Putin and the Kremlin. When Boris wants the West to give more tanks, it's all about how ruthless and mad Putin is, with no respect for human life and with no scruples. Mention nuclear war to Boris however, and then it's all about how Putin wouldn't ever do it.

  So, which is it? Does Putin have scruples or not?
