  Dumb Elders

  i knew a few pretty intelligent elders .

  sometimes i would wonder why they remained as elders or even witnesses because they were successful men who made a good living and were highly respected because of their qualities.. that is a rather small group.

  most elders that i know of aren’t the brightest bulbs in the sky.

  Ok, my friend's dad was an elder. I'll share a quick anecdote about him and then you can decide whether he was dumb or not, lol.

  So, my mate's elder dad believed that gay men inserted tampons into their rectum because all that anal sex made them incontinent. He didn't think this happened to just one or two gay men who went sex-crazy ... he believed this was a typical thing that affected the gay community.

  So, was he dumb? Er, yeah, I'd say so, lol.

  Nurses are unwilling to take the COVID-19 Vaccine

  i work at two separate hospitals and most of the rns i work with have stated they won't take the vaccine.

  i've read a report that 1/3 of rns will refuse the vaccine.

  for those in other countries do you see this being an issue or is it more an american phenomenon?.

  I think it will be an issue in other countries, too.

  And, whether it's a good or a bad idea to refuse the COVID vaccine, I don't think people should be forced to take it. Do we force people to take a flu jab?

  it’s not clear yet, what they will be.. some suggestions; confiscate all guns.------buyback programs in each state.. there is much talk on social media that if this happens, the pandemic, + all the riots, + all the damaged property, + all the annual murders in america, - put together-will be like a sunday afternoon picnic, compared to all the deaths and property damage that will result because of “civil uprising” by millions of 2nd amendments advocates and just plain gun lovers.

  Interesting thread.

  One point that I think is worth keeping in mind is that it just isn't possible to eliminate guns and other lethal weapons entirely, and I don't think Americans will give their up.

  Hence, guns and other weapons do need sensible regulation.

  It's one thing to ask for 'reasonable' gun laws, it's another to get the American public onside.

  Let's just think this situation through …

  Biden will likely be US president soon, the Democrats having grifted their way to victory, funded by BLM.

  BLM want to defund the police.

  There has been a depressing decline in Democrat cities such as Chicago, San Francisco, Baltimore, etc.

  Why on earth would ordinary Yanks want to give up their guns? The current situation will likely mean that they'll cling on to their guns more, if anything. I believe I read somewhere that gun sales are going through the roof. I don't know if this correct but I wouldn't be surprised if it is, TBH.
