WT Mtg "read scriptures" are only to be read by a 1 brother???
by Olivia Wilde inwe had co visit recently & it appears that the co told the elders of the congregation that the scriptures indicated on the wt to be "read" on the watchtower study are only to be read by 1 brother in the entire study.... the elder conducting the watchtower announced that at the wt mtg... i was like what???
only men?....
has anyone else had this occur in their congregation?

I bought property, not that far from Watchtower land in Warrwick NY.
by Dunedain ini wound up buying 26 acres of land in upstate ny, a few years ago.
i bought it strictly as an investment, due to rumors of there going to be huge development of the area.
it seems like casinos, walmart, and tons of building have started in the area, or are now breaking ground, since i purchased it.

Liver & Onions day is the day that Bethel serves that for lunch. It is the most hated meal at the US Branch. Usually only 1/4 show up for that lunch, most only eat the sides. Even the Cooks will order pizza from off site!

CO Comes Up With A New Way To Be Judgemental...
by JW_Rogue inat the latest co visit something very strange happened.
during the meeting with the elders and servants he passed out a copy of a hypothetical publisher card and asked us what we could learn from it.
upon receiving it i saw that the average hours were pretty good, it had return visits and quite a few bible studies.

If I owned any property close to a "Bethel" facility I would build 3 things.
- A Beer/ Liquor Store (Fully Stocked & Staffed on Bethel Payday)
- A Pizza place (Fully Stocked & Staffed on Liver and Onions day)
- An internet cafe (No Bethel Spying on your browsing)
You could make bank on the Beer sales alone!

To benefit fully from each of the five sections, we recommend that you set aside time in a quiet location with minimal distractions and give the program your full attention. When viewing the program, you will need a Bible, Working Together Safely—Safety Rules and Standards (S-109), a pen, and paper so that you can look up references and take brief notes. After viewing a section, please complete the short quiz for that section before proceeding to the next section. Please do not skip any portions of the safety orientation or quizzes.
If you have volunteered within the past year at any of the U.S. Bethel facilities (Brooklyn, Patterson, Wallkill, or Warwick), viewing the Warwick Safety Orientation in preparation for your upcoming assignment is optional. The writing department
by tornapart ini don't go to many meetings now.
i still feel the need to go every now and again for my husband's sake.
i usually go on a sunday, maybe once a month or so and i look at the wt article under discussion to see if i can stomach it before i go, a lot of the time i feel i just can't do it.

Don't preach, sell books.
by mikeypants ini haven't seen this article before but i apologize if this has been discussed.. i decided to download a bunch of jw literature and came across this special bulletin from 1928, a special colporteur edition.
it was written by the society and sent to the roughly 1400 colporteurs, which is someone pushing religious books and magazines.
if you want the entire bulletin id be happy to email it.

Lets start a "Go Fund Me" for those special pioneers being kicked to the curb by the GB,.
by notjustyet inlots of great potential to help those sp that are being sent off without any financial help from the wtbts.
i think that it would be a great way to get some exposure on this topic and how the wtbts thats those that dedicated their lives to the wtbts only to be sent packing at a late age.
then someone can take the funds to one sp couple, possibly, and give it to them in honor of the apostates that know what is really happening.
