JW TV is the reason for the hysteria in the KH

if you, like me, have noticed the sudden increase in hysteria in the khs right now, i put it down to that jw tv site.

its's far more extensive than i thought it was, i thought it was just 1, 1 hour program a month.

there's a s*** load of videos on that site.. and the real problem, from just watching a clip from each video, is that these guys are clearly "mentally unstable".

i have come to a startling and sad realisation!.

i have no real friends!.

i have always been extremely active in every aspect of the org, since childhood.

Hang in there Stuck. I fear the day when I may face a judicial committee and face the fact that all of my friends and family will soon start shunning me, so I truly do have empathy for you. It must be very stressful. Good luck and please keep us posted. Are there any other "apostates" or ex-dubs in your area that you can meet up with?

So many here are in the same spot as you. For myself the best advise is to take it slow. Make well thought out deliberate decisions. The Borg can hold your family as ransom. I haven't been able to figure out how to beat them at this yet. I would rather fake it for the time being then have my family torn away from me. Regarding doubts, once I read CofC all of mine went away. If there is a god, I thank him for Ray Franz.

Adjustments. You said most JWs are mentally ill or unstable. That's a bunch of crap. Just like someone who says that if you send your kid to a KH they will get molested. Most JWs are brainwashed and some are mentally ill.

Based on my very non scientific observations of dubs that I have met I think there may be a higher percentage of dubs with mental illness than the rest of the population. These numbers may be skewed by

1. Those with mental illness may be more attracted to the prepackaged friends that the Borg offers as well as the promise of the paradise fixing their problems.

2 Born ins without any mental illness may be more likely to leave the Borg. They may be quicker to see the cult for what it really is.

out of the blue my wife started to ask me about my feeling about the borg.

i told her i didn't want to talk about it...she persisted.

she already knows how i feel, i told her that my biggest beef is that they use mind control, and yep she went in to how i was an apostate and how she doesn't want to be married to an apostate.

GTTM. Hang in there. A lot of us are in the same situation. I have taken a break from trying to teach my wife TTATT and am playing nice for the time being. I overreached too quickly a few months back and she came close to going to the elders. I have no intention of letting the Borg split up my wonderful little family. It can be a long slow game of chess. I too hate this cult.

there are so many posters who use abbreviations in their posts and so many of us have been out for years.

the borg constantly changes everything from beliefs to organizational tactics, so those like me don't have a clue to what you are referring to.
