Based on my very non scientific observations of dubs that I have met I think there may be a higher percentage of dubs with mental illness than the rest of the population. These numbers may be skewed by
1. Those with mental illness may be more attracted to the prepackaged friends that the Borg offers as well as the promise of the paradise fixing their problems.
2 Born ins without any mental illness may be more likely to leave the Borg. They may be quicker to see the cult for what it really is.
out of the blue my wife started to ask me about my feeling about the borg.
i told her i didn't want to talk about it...she persisted.
she already knows how i feel, i told her that my biggest beef is that they use mind control, and yep she went in to how i was an apostate and how she doesn't want to be married to an apostate.
am i going nuts or am i just pissed off?
there are so many posters who use abbreviations in their posts and so many of us have been out for years.
the borg constantly changes everything from beliefs to organizational tactics, so those like me don't have a clue to what you are referring to.

i lost my father to cancer and nearly lost my mom (thank goodness i didn't) to an illness both in 1999, i became inactive in 2000, and came out of the closet in 2001.. were you a born in or a convert?i was born in.

fred franz was 71 years old in 1963. ray franz was 41 years old.. there is also president of knorr.
i have a good life and i am now worth around 3 million us.
my two children have their university degrees and a promising future.

i am not a jw ...however i began having bible studies (i d call them watchtower studies).
i was beginning to get lured in and brainwashed into accepting the religion as the true religion...but something inside of me told me there was something odd.
some time passes and i was invited to a meeting and i accepted.
this thread is to formally address this subject.
this is for forum members and especially for lurkers (current witnesses reading this in secret).
please feel free to post any additional points.. there are a lot of changes happening in wt land.
