by Simon ina week or so ago i posted that the forum was 15 years old (15 years of jehovahs-witness.com) and hinted that there may be some news to announce about the site:.

Active posters: What education have you had, what degrees do you possess?
by EndofMysteries infrom so many posts and conversations on here, you'd think over 1/2 the posters here possess doctorates in theology, physics, biology, etc.
i'm curious aside from the books and research people have done here, what degrees they have.
to start, i just got an aa and going straight through full time to an mba.

well i believe people don't want to believe in god because they are scared.
they know that if they finally do gorge the confidence to believe in him, he might discipline them for their skepticism.

What you are essentially saying is "shut your mind to all intellectual rationalization to the contrary, and just believe in my irrational intellectual creation called santa claus just becuse it makes me feel like jesus. Ain't that just 'twirling' your eyes to the 'book' that made you believe in santa in the first place. Consequently, It takes 'integriry' and this "inner power' that you speak of ,to rationalize and reject this fairy god father and the JWian mind-trap which you seem to be championing so devoutly and cluelessly.

Trying to live the rest of my life without being bitter.
by Bigdummy ini'm new to this forum.. i was raised in " the truth" from age six and now i am in my mid 60's.
my wife was born in " the truth" and is very strong in the religion.
i have had many experiences during my lifetime with the other members of several congregations.

New to all of this
by Ghiagirl ini was raised in the truth my whole life, my immediate family are jws and my moms mom is a witness as well as my fathers mom.
other than that the rest of my family are non jws.
i was raised very balanced, my parents never forced the truth on me or my siblings like most of my friends parents did getting baptized at ridiculous ages!

March Broadcast- Jehovah is speeding up the work
by adjusted knowledge ini watched some of the segments on the jw broadcast.
in the video they showed how they managed their inventory orders for the congregations.
at the conclusion it was stated by the narrator how god is speeding up the work.. the problem is the system they implemented has been used for over two decades in logistics.
