Is it worth making a JW Talk profile?

i have looked at the jw talk forums every now and again.

is it any use making a profile to get in?

mainly just to laugh at the pathetic discussion that they carry on with.

He really looks like he's dead, but reanimated for the session...A puppet of prophecy and whatever else spews forth...I can hardly believe that these idiots went public. They were terrifically delusional the day they decided to grab the "public forum"...It has been awesomely funny to watch these idiots "not remember" the script. They have gone downhill and made fools of themselves...Keep it coming you idiots!! It's entertaining to make notes on your dreadful performances....

I went there too. The thing is, that they are so very pro...JW. They would glean any information you gave and whether true or false, they may let you in. You would have to give details that would make you appear to be someone who want's to lurk or if you gave accurate information..you would be tracked...I wanted to have a look and realised they were so pro that they could not allow one second of dissension amongst the ranks..I don't think it is worth the effort.

London Bethelites Are Agitated!

a source has informed me that a relative who's in london bethel has said that a number of bethelites there are very uncomfortable and embarrassed because the branch has received "quite a few letters" querying why members of the governing body were wearing flashy rings and jewellery on some of the monthly broadcasts, but on the broadcast when the g.b.

asked for more money from the congregations - their gold and jewellery was not on display!.

will probably emerge one day wearing sackcloth, begging for yet more donations..

i bought this book because of a post about it last week so a big thank you for that.. i must say that everyone on this forum should consider giving this book a go.

I have been made very aware by the elders and their wives that they work in all sorts of fields.....One even worked in the place where my Emma nearly died...She is not there now..But! She went ahead a few weeks ago and contacted her old work mates to confirm it was my daughter. What sort of a crap thing is that to do..?

Stupidly, she thought that by telling me this it would impress me in some way. It did not. I told her off and asked what current "permission" she had for enquiring into my child.

She was caught out, she went red in the face and neck and I watched her very quietly as she and her husband were very uncomfortable...........So. I always ask whether this counsellor or that social worker or nurse is a JW, ...lately. It will not always be like this, but just for now as I have the right to get the name and the yes or no on my record too.

I thought the same thing exactly as I read it. Just read the one on Cedars blog about the Polish letter elkitar 1980. It's just worded sort of .......differently. On the other hand there could be the dual purpose of trying to find out the stance of those that don't report. I sense some anxiety within the org due to so much bad publicity...They'll love though, it's really good "persecution stuff".

it needs to be done as soon as possible.. and i need you to help me.. i need someone, maybe more than one person, to draft a template, for a letter to the white house.. it has to clearly state that the usa is falling way behind many other countries, in terms of protecting children in institutions nationwide.. it has to make this clear: .

both australia and the uk (independent inquiry into child sexual abuse in england and wales, see here: www.csa-inquiry.independent.gov.uk/about-the-inquiry ) are currently investing large amounts of time and financial resources to research the best possible policies to protect children, across all institutions, religious and nonreligious.. they are working to expose the failures of various institutions, that have not reported child abuse, or have even covered it up... why are the united states of america not doing the same?!!.

Oh, well no harm done then vidiot. I do see how we all get things wrong and say the wrong things...It's good you apologised. Defender of truth is sincerely on a good mission. And I say, good for him/her. It never hurts to start the ball rolling. That's largely what happened in this country. Lot's of little things became bigger and bigger, until it could not be ignored.

I felt sorry for Unthank and some of the unkind attitudes people expressed about him. But you know what? He did contribute in a substantial way.. to events that led up to this RC. He was online and in the papers. Not bad for a one man show was it?

Some people called him nuts, others a liar, others were just ignoring him and hoping to god he'd just go away. I think he wore himself out in the end. So, don't stop what you are doing defender. I don't think for one second that you are wasting your time doing this. Sometimes it's the path we feel we HAVE to follow for some reason or other.

I think I'll call that Karma, or perhaps just a feeling that you are called to. So goon on you and don't stop.
