"Immortal Soul" - A Watchtower Doctrine!
by Stephanus inin my 25 years or so in "christendom" i've been to many different churches in different denominations and have heard hundreds, perhaps thousands, of sermons.
in all that time i have never heard the term "immortal soul" used, not even once.
yet the jws go on (and on, and on!

I think its interesting to note that Russell did away with imortality of the soul early on, which in hand does away with eternal punishment.This then leads to deminishing Jesus' role as savior as well as Christs deity. And ultimatly putting God in a box.

Jws belive Christ was the Messiah, that he came from heaven, that his death was for atoning all sins,
Correct me if Im wrong here, But the Jws feel that Christ shed blood was only for the sin man inherited from Adam. Not our everyday run of the mill sin.
As if these two types of sin are seperate.
I believe Yahweh is the only free agent.

the seven times of Daniel chapter 4

that definite object took the simple action of being cut down from the subject, god.
thus the larger or antitypical fulfillment describes how god cut down satan's rule over the earth until seven times passed over him.

Making 607 crumble
by ellderwho induring my eight month long study with "elder bob" (moms husband) we have batted around many subjects to say the least.
but the one that really stands out is the dreaded date of 607 bc.
im sorry i just will not let up with this date, and him having to prove it can stand.

Did God create man to live forever?
by shotgun indubs always point back to genisis as a last resort and say ....well he created them to live forever, it was his original purpose.. where does it say that?.
genisis says that they were to multiply and fill the earth not that they would live forever.
if they were to live forever what was the tree of life for?.
