What about death in the "new system" because people ressurected that in the end reject the truth they'll have to be murdered to rid paradise of them.
Their so-called paradise is not the end of death.
from the beginning of the jw experiance, i wondered what the plan was going to be after armegeddon.
we are to expect so much destruction, billions of people destroyed (how many birds does it take to eat 6 billion people in a timely manner?
) with the massive deaths and stuff to clean up........peoples bones for one, rebuiling and resurrecting the millions and millions that have died.....teaching them, and working to clean up the planet.

It seems to me, from the way the WTS explains all this Armageddon aftermath, that I would be much better off not to convert, because it would seem I would be able to avoid a lot of hard work and gruesome cleaning tasks.
This is preplexing issue for the dub. Because the thief on the cross gets a free ticket to paradise, and he doesnt have to work at all or pass a test that he might fail in a 1000 years or so.
And why does Christ promise him something the dub has to work for this life and the next for. And quite possibly fail at. Hmm.
i live in memphis.
months ago, i had some jw's come by and talk with me.
i'm a believer in the holy bible.
Will2power:......He is clearly a lesser 'God' than the Father.
Really? Care to work this out?

This is a great subject for the dub. They'll go on an on about this and that in the "new system." After while you start to realize they aint got a friggin clue. Kinda of making it up as they go along.
If any sort of problem is presented to the dub they go into the, what I like to refer to as the "willy wonka" effect. That is to say, any problem the dub cannot figure out concerning the "new system of things" can be handled by invoking that Jehovah is the willy wonka of the universe and he will figure out all those pesky little details.
It really is halirious,and sad.
i am intrigued by this place - does it still exist and does anyone know anything about it now such as who owns it and who lives there ?
Beth-Sarim is what lead me to question the Org. IMO this is the grandest of all false prophecies. Because its actually real-estate.
They would have been better off just demolish it like it was never there.
nobody ever said that the end was coming in 1975.. all the hype about this date that has continued all the way down through today came from a talk in the early 70's by fred franz.
in this talk, franz pointed out the significance of the 7 creative days and how they correspond with 1,000-year time intervals.. he then said, "could the end come in 1975?
there's so much wrong with jehovah's witnesses from their rigid legalism to their faux love, but let's call a spade a spade about the 1975 thing..
Good idea Outlaw.
is anyone familiar with this upcoming event?
or know anyone who attends?.
i had "met" a few gals when i first left the wts (seven years ago) who talked about this convention....one was from western ny....but i have since lost touch with them and lost their email addies years ago.
I go everyyear. Gave my testimoney a couple years ago.
this is the program:
creationists often point to the subtle balances between "natural laws", arguing that if gravity was a bit stronger/weaker or the weak nuclear force was a shade to the left or right, the universe would be destroyed.
but then they make the statement, "all laws require a law-giver.
that just isn't true.
A physical law, scientific law, or a law of nature is a scientific generalization based on empiricalobservations of physical behavior. They are typically conclusions based on repeated scientificexperiments over many years, and which have become accepted universally within the scientific community.
This is interesting, because on one hand, the evolutionist is quick to call for emperically scientific tested world they live in, and the other is the inability to have the origins of the evolutionist world, empirically tested.
I think we all realize no one was around to scientifically observe the primordial soup/or whatever grow from the speculated origins of chaos or whatever.
What needs to happen: is to start life in a lab an have it set to the empirical observation testing standards that allegedly apply to the evolutionist world.
i am new to the site, although i have been a lurker for quite some time.
i was very nervous to create an account.
all of the people i work for and with are jw's and we are all family.
I.wonder,
