    NO EXPLANATION FOR INTELLIGENCE:

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. - Rom 1:20

An atheist cannot accept the fact that a car can exist without a maker or a house without a builder.

But ...... at the same time, he can accept the myriad of living things which are millions of times more complex than cars or houses without a Maker or Designer. Where is the logic?

Atheism is the death of hope, the suicide of the soul.

There is nothing so costly as ignorance. - Horace Mann.

When I left the JWs I went to a couple of different chuches and wound up going to the penticostals for a few months. Then after trying to make sense of the bible and doing research I finally came to the conclusion it is not the word of God. I now do not have any religious beleifs, nor do I accept any man's interpretation of what or who God is or if thier even is a God for that matter, so I guess you can say I'm a skeptical agnostic.

The only thing I find mysterious about God is why so many people worship him when he's he is a vicious murdering self centred egotist! nuff said

Yeah, I wonder about that, too. Since churchy people are usually considered good and respectable, I think religious worshipers just want to be able to walk around with that label. Most religions just ignore the negative things the bible says about "god" anyway.

    I'm an atheist.

Now, I just believe in myself. I think we should all believe in ourselves first and foremost.

Do you pray at all then or just exist without any hope? Without anything to look forward to?

    Itsallgoodnow,

It's not a matter of "churchy people".

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Yet when we ask God to forgive us He does but we must turn away from the things that displeases God because He would leave us to do what we want --- THERE IS WHERE THE TROUBLE LIES. Satan (evil) gets a hold of us and we allow it - IT'S NOT GOD FAULT- IT'S YOUR FAULT AND MY FAULT.
