Sorry to be so glib.
I believe in a higher power....I know there is something bigger than me and I don't believe we (humans) were created from some big bang as a random accident.
I think there has to be some kind of higher power/God because I have seen miracles - amazing miracles.
And I know for a fact that the devil lives and walks the land.....because I've seen what he can do - and I'm not talking about ghosties and goblins....I think Apathy is the devils biggest gift to society.

This thread is amazing - Hibiscus asks a fairly innocent question, and everyone answers honestly and openly, and a few people make a little joke - then Hibiscus starts preaching and ticking off the people that made a little joke, so the joke becomes way bigger than it needed to be. Its just like being at KH. Im sorry, but the reason im on this site (and im guessing why other people are also on the site) is because I have turned my back on being preached to about ANYTHING.
Now I just want to discuss, bat things to and fro, not have any particular set of beliefs bigged up. Ive had a GUT FULL of being told scriptures. Even if they are great scriptures and true ones and important ones they just turn me stone cold because they are associated with something I have had enough of hearing.
You can tell me im throwing the baby god out with the bathwater, but it makes me physically shake with anger when I hear any sentence with the words 'lord jesus' or 'god is love' or anything that sounds like anything I heard at KH.
Im sorry hisbiscus, old love, but thats the way it is. Like someone whos been abused by a man who wore a cap, and now they hate caps irrationally. Yes its irrational, there it is. So please go somewhere else to find converts, cos yo lookin in da wrong place.
