Hi everyone, this is my first post here, I have been lurking for a few months now, and I must say that you guys have been instrumental in opening my eyes to all the BS of the Borg. It has been a gradual lifting of the blinders. Today I am still a Witness in good standing, although we rarely go to meetings anymore, on Sunday's here and there. We are faders, we have stayed due to some of my family and friends being in the religion still. I no longer believe that the WTS has the "Truth" it's full of lies, coverups and is bloodguilty. I no longer believe the Bible is the word of god, I have done much research and found numerous errors and contradictions, there would be none if it was inspired. I do not believe that Jesus existed as is claimed in the New Testament, there would have been some kind of proof other that the words written in the Bible and Josephus's account. I read a truly amazing book for it's time, "The Age of Reason" by Thomas Paine and that really put the icing on the cake for me, as far as to the veracity of the Bible. I am currently reading this shocking but fascinating book "Ceasar's Messiah-The Roman Conspiracy to Invent Jesus" by Joseph Atwill, it really makes perfect sense once you understand the political scene at the time that Jesus supposedly existed.

In spite of all this, I firmly believe in God, whoever he may be. I don't think all this happened by chance. I don't believe the Bible is God's word, I believe creation is, humans could still live without seeing in color yet we can appreciate the beauty of all the colors, we could still live without smell, yet we enjoy all the wonderfull scents, others not so wonderfull, we could still live without feeling pleasure, yet we experience the pleasure of touch, these and many other things affirm my belief in a creator, but this is my belief, I respect everyone else's.
