Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the WTBTS believe and still do that the resurrection began in 1914 and that somehow pastor russel was involved with directing the WTBTS in spirit ? I think it entirely possible that in the instance of Peter that it could simply have been a misunderstanding since they did believe that the messianic kingdom was in power and the conclusion of this system of things was going to happen in their lifetime . I think the bible says that the angels are watching intently as to the fulfillment of prophesy and the inspired teachings of God among men. oh here it is 1st Peter 1:12
funny thing tho when I studied somehow the things that happened around me were all satanic . I guess one mans angel is another mans demon .
