    Where is their growth?

    Mexico 5%, Brazil 4%, Russia 5%, Peru 5%, Ukraine 3%, Zambia 3%.

Those are all the countries with more than 100 000 publishers that have significant rates of growth

Mexico alone increased by 26,000 - which means that this one country accounts for more than 1/5 of the total growth worldwide (a mere 124,000)

I never paid much attention to the service reports in the mags.....does it list the number of partakers at the last memorial?

Perhaps someone more learned can answer my question:

Dealing with statistics, how does this growth of 2% compare with the earths population growth? Could this 2% growth really be a dramatic decrease?

Shamus - see the site Simon posted because it compares Witness growth to growth in world population graphically. Worldwide population growth is consistently below 1% annually, so Jehovah's Witnesses are still doing marginally better than population growth.

US figures - 0.46% growth in ave pub. Peak pub down 10,000 from last year to 1,019,696. Pio, cong, ave bib stud, hours and mem attend is all up from last year in the US.
