My understanding is most of these are rapes. Also in the news quite often in my area is the domestic violence coverups.

As a man I realize that if the wife is sleeping around it is entirely her fault . This law in the military could be dangerous in regard to dishonerable discharge by leaving the opportunity for black mail .

Rather then be a man about it, you got a man imprisoned, deprived of his children. It's really none of my business except you bragged about it. As for the custody of your kids and your exwife, that's none of mine at all. Still, your concept of honor is pretty odd, and at the very least an anachronism.

I actually think it took more discipline and self-control what he did then giving the guy a beat down. Why throw away his life because of this looser and a loose wife? He puts his fist throw the back of this dudes face and then gets kicked out of the armed services. That would be pretty stupid.

    gitasatsangha:

You owe Yer an apology. You may live and act like an animal, but most men do not. To throw this insult out regarding an honorable man, using an honorable way to address this unfortunate event, is shameful and pathetic. Go after the fool who violated Yers Family.

ThiChi, I didn't say anything to apologize for. I got a concept of honor, and for the record I do not live like an animal, apart from being somewhat hairy. If ex had cheated on me (she didn't, inasmuch as I know), I would have been really angry. Probably would've wanted to unload my Mossberg-12 on whoever the dude was, and maybe her too. That's a natural reaction. But not doing that, is the true adult decision. Whining to the authorities that your woman's riding another dude's johnson, and then boasting about how the authorities put him in jail and took his kids away, that's pretty freaking infantile. Act like you got pair.

    Gitas,

I can see you and I will agree on just about nothing at all...so be it. Smooches.

Well I agree with gitasatsangha . I would put the blame right where it belongs , on the wife . The rule may be there in an attempt to keep things like that happening but as I said before some people might use it to black mail others and also I can't see making a guy that was lonely and desperate and a victim of circumstance suffer because the wife can't keep her legs shut . Let's say you did have to jump in a fox hole with the guy and he turns around and saves your life , are you going to shoot him in the back ? I know it's gotta be tough trusting a spouse when you spend so much time away from home but if that trust aint there then the marriage just aint going to make it unless you both like to swing as been mentioned .

lol blame the wife..blame the guy....adultery takes two and usually when it happens there were "issues" in the marrage to begin with.

I agree with git....the adult thing would be to deal with the individuals involved on a personal level, without violence or involving anyone else. Destroying someone's life over adultry doesn't seem honorable..it seems petty. I realize there is a lot of hurt involved...but what did the guy's kid do to deserve being seperated from his dad?

Sorry yeru, just my 2 cents
