Well my recon was a success and it turns out even better than I thought! My friend Bob Allen who owns the pub was more than happy to have our chilli tasting there...he's also gonna serve us crackers and some small side stuff...AND give us happy hour prices to boot! It is two blocks from Sonny Bryans and a perfect place to have it. What I figured is that everyone could come over to the pub, have a drink and try the chillis then either hang out till dinner started or go looking about downtown till then. I figured we could have people bring chilli down about 5:30, set up and then everyone could descend...

Will have official Chilli Cook Off guidelines sometime today.

I'm puttin my money on the big lettered statement. After a couple of tequila and beer chasers.......my arse will a resting and my jaws will be a flappin. The young bastards with energy can go to the mall while I just sit there getting blasted droolin all over myself.
