    Comes down to one word.

urgency - (the fear factor) used 1 time in 2021. The peak was 43 times in 1969 ( when we had a lock on the Armageddon timetable).

Disappointed for the year 1914, when the end was due, no mention of that word.

Maybe because the Borg was caught lying and plagiarizing in their magazines.

Could be a reason for their decline.

Constant reductions in staff and product output, unending legal battles, and regular liquidation of assets to cover expenses are not typically signs of robust financial health.

Depends on how decline is defined. On the one hand, based on one definition SBF shows numbers compared to other religions declining in numbers. On the other hand Nicolau shows a decline maybe not in overall percentages in growth but in other ways. For example when you go to a convention and not many people get baptized compared to the golden years. Also, everybody thought that the number of anointed would decline and non-anointed would take over the gb but there is no short supply of younger than the other sheep and the great crowd anointed. —And the end did not come within the expected Biblical time frame. Also, the 1914 generation of people linked to the JW preaching work died so what was the point of the preaching work if their rejection of the kingdom message was in fact inconsequential as it relates to them. Obviously it was important to those that became JW. But now it appears that the preaching work is unlinked to 1914 and applies to a new generation of humans not contemporaries or related to 1914. The generation teaching, the end of the 6000 years and the beginning of the Millennium, the great tribulation have not materialized—JW are all in waiting for something to happen…..

Concurrently, JW have a relationship with God that they enjoy. So as much as JW are waiting and groaning for relief, even if nothing happens, they are still convinced that it will happen. They won’t lose faith because their relationship with God substantiates their beliefs. This is how JW think.

6000 years of human existence since the creation of humans was supposed to end in 1975 and it was expected that the 1000 years of JC reign would begin ,and of course nothing of the sort happened .

The end of the 19th century was another expectation ,and again nothing happened.

Over well over 100 years the religion of Jehovah`s Witnesses have made time frames for GOD`S kingdom to come to earth and it has all proved futile .

when are the still in believers going to learn that the JW religion is a false religion.and what they speculate on will never happen just as nothing they speculated upon in the past never happened .

Even if JW has not declined, it is visible that it is declining compared to the rapid growth of the past. The decline of Protestants is because they do not harmonize with the rapidly changing wave, because their doctrine of salvation has not developed the old teachings of heaven and hell, and the existence of God does not give meaning to modern society. It's almost the same with JW. Unless they reform the doctrine it's going to be drastically reduced or it's going to be a nominal believer (PIMO).

That’s what the majority thought of JC back in the 1st century. But the evidence he showed convinced the apostles and others. Same with JW.They are convinced. Even if conclusions about time turn out wrong, what the Bible says about God’s promise of eternal life and relief of suffering are believed to be as good as fulfilled and more real that empirical science.

This really Good reason every one is tired. Instead of getting relief, GB got everyone exhausted with all their rules, books magazines, meetings assemblys. So many things that are not needed or could be much much less of. Plus it removes focus on more important things, like Agape. This day's you have too flee from watchtower to get real rest.

    Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
