In your own words in your OP - you declared this would be both "scathing and very uncomfortable" to read.

Just because it has perhaps become 'scathing and very uncomfortable' to read sooner than you thought, doesn't mean it should be ignored.

"There have been apostates for decades, nearly a century ... but now *I* am going to speak and get things done!"

Newsflash: it's all been said, been done, been tried. There is no magical phrase that you can say to convince anyone to listen to you when they won't listen to anyone before. It's pure luck if you catch someone at the right time but as Gary Player said when someone said he was lucky to win all those tournaments "yes, and the amazing thing is the more I practiced, the luckier I got!"

Refine your arguments, learn to present them well and in a reasonable way and you will stand more of a chance of being convincing.

I think starting with an ego that you have all the answers and can do what no others have done can potentially come across in the message.

Are there any Bible Students who meet regularly in the United Kingdom? I am not aware of any, and I have been looking.

Way back in 2001 I was in touch with an elderly Bible Student in England, but I suspect he may have since died.

I am doubtful there are any active Bible Students left in Britain but I'd be happy to find out if there are some.

Jesus Christ people. Let the guy write it. if anyone is using their time and effort to continue to work on projects exposing the watchtower, who the hell cares if you think it might or might not have been done before? Who cares if you get the impression the person is blowing their own trumpet. If they are blowing their own trumpet.....who cares?

If you don't want to help. Why not just kick rocks onto the next topic instead of being so bucket/crablike.

Pomo, have you tried their main website? Lots of links to explore as well.

I don't know why everyone bashes Cedars.. He has strengths and weaknesses like all of us.

He's the closet thing to a journalist that I've seen come out of the ex-dub forums.

I love all our weirdos, even Fisherman.

I don't get the Cedars hate either. We are all different and varying degrees of authentic. I'm sure everyone here has a % of asshole in them. In the end, he is doing quite abit to help people wake up. Randy and James and Ray did....then people like Simon from this site, Grundy and JWfacts which is a standard bearer, now its Cedars and an online community.

We don't have to always agree. That is sort of the beauty of being out.

DATA-DOG: I don't know why everyone bashes Cedars.

One of the reasons was/is this and the whole way it was handled:

(following the launch they changed their name, keeping the same initials)

Yes it's still strange that he never apologised or really acknowledged there was anything wrong with what happened with AAWA on facebook.

Porno, your apology is far, far too easily offered upon the altar of self-pity.

This is your wonderful opportunity to rise up, refute the putdowns, own your unique contribution to the world and swim against currents that oppose you. An apology can come after that.

Wasn't AAWA a group of some of the best and brightest? Why is it solely on Cedars that people were outed. I can't imagine that was intended. Honestly, I have a FB account and it seems pretty clear that isn't the easiest place to be anonymous.

Anyways, I don't want to resurrect the AWAA thing. Its a shame it didn't work out. All those people working together would have really been nice.
