  This is what my elder father told me and my siblings yesterday. He said this ultra top secret info was given to him by his Jw elder buddy from a different cong. His buddy has a friend in bethel that attended the special meeting recently

  He said the GB only have a 10 year plan in regards to talks, publications and meetings. That they have completely fulfilled their role as the F&D slave and there is nothing else they can/will do after these next 10 years. It will be up to all JW's to keep going on their own.

  Has anyone else heard of this being said? I did a search on engine and could not find anything. Can someone point me in the right direction if this has already been discussed? I find it hard to be true, but it would be awesome if it were.

  The GB have a 10 year plan? What makes it different from their 100 year plan?

  As long as there are asses in seats with a contribution box on the way out, the plan is in tact.

  My question was not about the 10 year plan. It was about them saying they will stop producing literature and meeting attendance within 10 years.

  My friend's stepdad's ex-brother-in-law overheard two ministerial servants talking about the same thing, since they know someone at Bethel. Must be true then!

  Seriously, who knows in 10 years? In a decade, JWs might be using their holographic iPad's at home to go to virtual meetings, all funded by the Kingdom Hall properties being sold. Or, it could be exactly the same as today.

  I have heard of the gossip game where one person whispers something to the person next to him/her and it goes around in the circle and they compare the original statement with the last statement....a world of difference.

  I was told by a Bethelite there are 3 ways to get a story around fast. You can tell it is old.
