New York and Toronto people are trapped in elevators and subways
Some fires have started in various places
No word of the cause or when it will be fixed

A power outage has struck New York and other cities in the northeastern U.S. and Canada.
There's a major power outage in New York City, affecting areas from Manhattan to Long Island and to the north. The buildings affected include the United Nations and New York Stock Exchange, along with Kennedy and LaGuardia airports.
A New York emergency management official says he has ``no idea how extensive it is.''

Most of MI lost power(detroit, lansing, jackson, kalamazoo, battle creek - probably many more too). We are on running on generator power at my office.

OH NO!!!
They are saying it is not a terrorist attack and could be the heat....it got hot here suddenly...went from 80 to 90's overnight. Suddenly everyone cranked up the air....
If it hit Cleveland, it will hit me.....
Turn down your air conditionaires. I want to remain on-line!
They are saying it started in New York and is a huge grid that is carrying over into all these other cities!!!
