  We used to be taught that the bOrg would be persecuted, but that would be persecution based on righteous reasons, that they were God's organization and that the worldly rulers (and Babylon the Great) would hate that they had God's approval.

  This is different. They are being "persecuted" because there is so much child sexual abuse in the organization, covered over and allowed for years. THAT is not a valid reason to say you are being persecuted because you are following God's commands.

  I see it as a prime opportunity to get witnesses to unlimbers their purses and the idiots will do it too! This might be the opportune moment they have been waiting for to get the bonanza from the brainwashed jdubs.

  Everything they have been touting- bunkers, persecution, secrecy, avoiding worldly info on them, fits into place ! All the ominous warnings about obedience to them at all times no matter what- fits in nicely with this situation. In fact , I think they had the foresight to foresee all this and have been planning to use this moment to fleece the sheep! Everything they have been saying for the last few years falls into place in the minds of the dubs.

  There may be imposters in the congregation, but it's the Governing Body who create policies which force abused children to confront their molesters, be asked if they enjoyed the abuse, are further abused if they didn't have the courage to scream and which allows abusers to regain their powerful elder status.
