I am 34 and I have never been married. So my prospective is from a single P.O.V. At this stage in my life I am happy and enjoying life (family say too much that I need to settle down). Part of being single that I cherish is not planning too much for the future. I have only me to take care of. My single life allows me to fulfill my passion – Travel; it allows me to take a trips impromptu. At the same time I do not rule out marriage because I have many friends who have a fulfilling marriage.
Hmmm I did forget to eat dinner? *stomach growls*

Even though my post was full of cliches, I stick by it.

I was happy when I was single. I am happy being married. I don't do alot of the things I did as a single person, but not because I am "not allowed", and I don't think of it as "I cant do that anymore"
I see it more like, "I have someone to share the things I did before WITH" . I don't go out anymore to dance.... WE go out to dance.
I love my baby and wouldn't trade her for anything. She is a precious part of my life that I couldn't imagine being without.
What's a B.O.B.? I think I might want one...not sure though..

To each his/her own.
Personally, given that I have something to compare: single vs. not single - I prefer being single.
I love my friends, married and single or attached.
But for me: single is what has worked best.
LOL @ Leddfootdja (B.O.B. wouldn't it be nice?)
