sounds like your dad is really going to bat for you. I am so glad you have him there for support against the rest of the family. Sometimes one sane voice in all the insanity can calm a lot of waters.
As for the family well perhaps the risk of losing in court and the invite to visit may be enough to stop a lot of the harassment
