Arguing with you is like playing chess with a pigeon.

Why should anyone give credence to biblical miracles but not those of the Swami?

His miracles are far more recent and attested by multiple living witnesses.

You asked for names dates and places and I gave them to you.

Cognitive dissonance is not good for you.

Ok they are real. why? because it said so in the book.

what about the miracles of the swami? Those are not real because there is no evidence.

The David Koresh story was posted to illustrate the unflagging nature of a belief system for those invested. 30 years after losing her husband and children the mother continues to regard Koresh as prophet/messiah.

Objectively asking how other people with other faiths can believe things so contrary to logic and reason we learn about human nature and a too common weakness we have for confirmation bias and special pleading.

Was the Emeth in the title a deliberate reference to the Narnia tales? Googling the word came up with a character that realizes his error in worship and gets salvation. These tales themselves illustrate the power of narrative and imagination. A whole world was created, millions have poured over the writings unable to decide whether to condemn or praise the author.

Kill the chess player and think you win?

Red herring argument. The subject of discussion is the Bible.

The pigeon knocks over the pieces, shits on the board and declares victory.

The subject of discussion is the veracity of reported miracles.

You seem incapable of following a simple, rational argument. Carry on.

You are not arbitrator but only an advocate. The straw man you reference has zero effect on the Bible miracles.

    Bible miracles.

Where's the proof without using the Bible to prove the Bible?

You are not arbitrator but only an advocate. - Fishy

I'm not an advocate. I think that Sai Baba is a fraud and the witnesses to his 'miracles' are deluded. And yet there are thousands of those witnesses within living memory.

That ought to give you pause before trusting the veracity of ancient miracles.
