    4 pages of anger and frustration, understandable if true.

    Minimus, where is the source of your information that Coca-Cola did this? I'm genuinely interested.

    Ahhh ok so Coca Cola subscribed to online Linked-In courses and a Linked-In user who teaches diversity uploaded an online video with a clip saying 'be less white'.

    Makes more sense now, far less hysterical than implied. These Linked-In online sections can be completed to boost CV's and demonstrate being up to date.

    IF there is ANY story at all in this, it is that Linked-In need to screen their online courses for professionalism.

    Coke had released this explanation early on;

    ""Our Better Together global training is part of a learning plan to help build an inclusive workplace. It is comprised of a number of short vignettes, each a few minutes long.

    "The training includes access to the LinkedIn Learning platform on a variety of topics, including on diversity, equity and inclusion.

    "The video in question was accessible on the LinkedIn Learning platform but was not part of the company’s curriculum. We will continue to listen to our employees and refine our learning programs as appropriate."

    One stupid thing that a company did was Bumble back in June. They sent a message saying

    "Bumble stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement in the fight to end systemic racism.

    We have a no-tolerance policy towards hate speech, racism, and bigotry of any kind. If you see it in our app, please use our Block & Report tool."

    So they don't have any filter for race or ethnic. What that means is that we have to click No or swipe left for people of other races that we wouldn't date. They are forcing us to peruse profiles of people we wouldn't date. It's our choice to not date people not of our race, and they are forcing us to peruse their profiles.

    What is the connection there? Bumble was saying it did NOT tolerate racist posts and as an organisation supported the BLM ethos, specifically - anti racism.

    There is no connection to the two issues. Nobody is forcing anyone to use bumble, go use another app that has filters!

    Dating apps compete by offering higher number of choices in your areas, filters are not in the favour of these apps as it puts less 'hits' in your vicinity. Most modern apps don't have lengthy filters for this reason. The ones that do.... go use them! THE ONE's that don't are more popular.,,,, BECAUSE most users want more 'hits' and matches in return.

    It is hardly controversial or a racial conspiracy!

    Also it's 2021, MOST people are beyond race and "ethnic" when dating, the world has changed and it's culture and processes with it. Shame you see differently.......

    Snare, I’m glad you researched the Coke thing. Regarding dating sites, I’d assume a person has certain preferences they want to automatically see. Surely there’s nothing wrong with that.
