  @rocketman: the narrative is indeed that regions with low vaccination levels are going to be hardest hit.

  currently in the UK, 70% of the population is vaccinated, likewise NY (73.8%) and CA (88%), yet where is it trending up most cases: NY, CA, UK. We were told last year that a 60-70% vaccination rate would mean herd immunity, so the masks and lockdowns would cease.

  You can do a simple correlation analysis, there is no correlation between the rates of vaccination and the rates of new cases. The best states in regards COVID cases are still red states with better access to healthcare, vaccines and fewer lockdowns. The worst states are still blue states with heavy regulation.

  Another thing to consider about new cases and making the claim that vaccinations keep hospitalization down is this: How do you know that acquired immunity isn’t keeping hospitalizations down?

  For instance, I had Covid, beat it, my antibodies are good and my T-cell immunity is good. I come into contact with Covid again, or another Corona virus that will show up as Covid on the PCR test, but I don’t get that sick? Maybe just a sniffle that I wrote off as allergies and a headache?

  You can’t just believe that because Country X has 50,000 new cases but less hospitalizations it’s all because of vaccinations. Yet, what an easy thing for the Media to say from their platform.

  Several counties in California have already instituted LAW MANDATES that people MUST WEAR MASKS ALL THE TIME. Including all those who TOOK THE VACCINE.

  If the Vaccine is suppose to protect you, why do they have to wear a mask?

  b. Covid19 is real but not a threat of any kind? Covid is a threat to a small part of the population, not humanity overall.

  c. Covid19 is a government conspiracy? Never let a good disaster go to waste. Gov Covid response is a conspiracty

  d. All the extra dead people died from natural causes, or something other than covid19? After March / April of 2020 total global deaths returned to pre-covid levels. There have been few "excess deaths" since then.

  e. Covid19 is real and a health risk- but not worth worrying about? Definitely not worth worry about. Definitely not worth shutting down the world economy for. Definitely not worth moving towards a socialistic government system

That is the same rate as the flu and is much lower than the CFR for the ancestral strain or any of the other variants. And as we know, the CFR is always higher than the infection fatality rate (IFR), because many of the mildest and asymptomatic infections go undocumented, while the confirmed cases tend to have a bias toward those who are more evidently symptomatic.

Many white evangelicals due to their religious beliefs are putting themselves at extreme risk by choosing not to get vaccinated. Many of them have the view of "My faith will protect me, so I don't need to get vaccinated" - and that is very dangerous thinking. Regarding that the article says the following.

  'Among religious groups in the US, "white evangelical Protestants stand out as the most likely to say they will refuse to get vaccinated (26%), with an additional 28% who are hesitant," according to a study this spring by the Public Religion Research Institute and Interfaith Youth Core.

  Some experts say anti-Covid-19 vaccine sentiment among evangelicals is fueled by a distrust in government, ignorance about how vaccines work and misinformation.

  Religious extremes on the part of some in no way negate the mounting evidence being shared by Virologists the world over concerning the actual danger of Covid-19 to the majority and the unjustified risks of promoting, and in many cases coercing the use of an experimental MRNA shot.

  Religious conservatives aren’t censoring medical experts all over the world, so a few quotes from Right leaning folks who believe in a God doesn’t really prove anything, other than the Left leaning Media is grasping at straws and attacking character as opposed to practicing journalism.

  When it comes to knowing how the vaccines work, no Leftist Media outlet has ever accurately reported how the vaccines work because they either don’t know, or don’t care, or are paid to spread propaganda. If you haven’t watched any videos or listened to any podcasts by Virologist who have been censored or de-platformed for telling the truth then you don’t have any idea how they work either.

  Facts re/COVID infections/hospitalizations in Israel and UK prove the unvaxed aren't causing the spread of Delta variant nor the ones leading in the high death rates as being reported in the US! CDC seems to have stopped counting vaxed hospitalizations in the US. Hard to imagine a vaccine company (CDC) would do such a thing, right!

  Check out info on Laura Ingraham (Fox News) per Dr. Reis (Yale) and Berenstein (sp?).

  Regarding checking out Fox News, that cable TV channel is one which more than 15 years ago I determined to be extremely unreliable in its commentary on news. Since about 15 years ago, I don't have cable TV anymore, thus all of my televised news (except when watching online videos in the public library or in the break room at work) is from broadcast television (PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, and local news stations). Other than this site and an investing site, I make almost no use of social media sites.
