  its the policy for any accused repentant sexual predator to be placed in a group that only meets at the Kingdom Hall. He would never be allowed to meet in anyone’s home. In cases where there is not a group that meets at the hall then he would not participate in the meetings for service at all.

  Also a repentant accused person is only allowed to work in service with an Elder or perhaps his wife. Even with his wife he would be supervised.

  this possibly could be a person who has served his time to society (possibly he was incarcerated for the crime and released) now he is looking to Make straight paths for his feet.

  ANYONE WHO CONFESSES HIS SIN AND LEAVES THE BAD PRACTICE BEHIND AND THEN TURNS TO DOING GOOD CAN BE CLASSIFIED AS REPENTANT.

  IF THE PERSON HAS BROKEN THE LAW IN ANYWAY HE WILL HAVE TO DEAL PERSONALLY WITH THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS BEHAVIOR. THE CONGREGATION DOES NOT SHIELD HIM FROM THOSE CONSEQUENCES.

  That is why the recent Watchtower study articles had to be presented to the Congregations. The Bodies of Elders were not following the direction per the written procedure. I don't know what the legal department was doing at Bethel in the past but they are corrected now. I believe Jesus was not present in those Judicial meetings because the spirit was being grieved. Judah and Israel were a theocracy once but the bible said many times that Jehovah left them due to their actions. Jesus would do the same with those seven stars in his hand.

  The Elders were doing exactly what they were indoctrinated to do, protect the ORG’s reputation at all costs..

  The Elders do what HQ says. End of story. If they don’t then they are no longer Elders.

  Now the new defense is, “ All this is happening because the Elders haven’t been following procedure.”?!?!?!

  If the procedures are so great, why the article about the GB erring in policies and procedures??? Seriously? Which is it? Are the policies flawed or just not being followed? You can’t have it both ways...

  By the way, the Elders aren’t the “Stars” of Revelation, or “Dukes and Shepherds.” That’s just flawed interpretations of delusional humans.

  Finally, how would not following procedures in the recent past explain the appointment of a pedophile to the Governing Body who then spearheaded the now infamous Pedophile database that the GB have protected at all costs to the tune of millions of dollars??

  MrTheocracy - I am not a wild dog. Shouting with caps is rather ridiculous.

  If someone broke into a kingdom hall and stole items, the police would be called. If someone in the hall steals a child's well being and mental health by molesting them - well instead of the police, they call the WT. And if there isn't another witness, too bad for the child and great for the molester.

  See, you call the police because they can take fingerprints and collect evidence. They interview neighbors and take statements. They check databases for similar MO's to see if the crime is related to others. JW's use the police in these "mundane" matters. That doesn't happen for children.

  As for the parents, many follow the WT's line of emotional reasoning that to report this to the police, would be to bring Jehovah's name in reproach. If you think that isn't true, then why is it from the example in Australia, those 1,000 plus cases of child sexual abuse were not reported?

  And to say Well the WT doesn't hinder anyone from going to the police, they neither encourage it.

  You didn't reply or comment on my earlier post about being responsible for the repeat offenders. I guess you had none.

  at the the time we didn’t have a hall. We were meeting in hotels and community centres.

  Also we were very rural. I know what the “guidelines” say. However, the BOE said that they felt these “brothers” were repentant and did not pose a risk. I’m not making this up, it’s my experience of the org. And as for only working with elders, these guys were smart and used to be the only brothers in some midweek groups.

  You have to admit that this happens in the org and that it is impossible to monitor these ones activity 100 percent

  I even maintain that they should be escorted to the toilet in the hall as opportunists they will take any chance they have to get to young ones

  Although it’s fair to say that it is policy that parents are warned of individuals now. Trust me that was never the case, but it does now put the onus on the parents, and seems to be a future excuse if the children do abused in the org saying “well you were warned”
