After a bit of a kerfuffle over a procedural matter, my university has awarded me a degree. (The procedural problem was caused by my independent selection of what I wanted to study)

    AWARD : Bachelor of Arts

MAJOR: Ancient History - Greece, Rome and Late Antiquity

    MINOR: Japanese Studies

Which is somewhat deceiving. Why? Well, that university is not quite the best place to study Asia or China, so finding that out after I commenced studies there, I decided to adapt what they offered and also to go to another Uni for more topics of interest.

So I'll post all my study topics in the next post

So in spite of the kerfuffle, caused by my NOT following a recognised stream, I think I achieved my goal. I've criss-crossed Asia, from east to west and back again. From south to north and from past to present.

There are blank (weak) areas, such as South East Asia, but at least I now have the cognitive skills to sstudy those areas by myself.

So I'm now debating with myself, will I sign up next year to do a 2 year Master of Research degree?

You will need to spell out the pros and cons of a 2 year Master of Research degree and what your personal challengers are. After all it's your life and contrary to our ex JW masters......... our life is all we have.

Certainly get the opinions of those who work in the field.

Go for the Masters! I'm working on mine now.
