Update...

I made it.... went 1100 miles Thursday, stopped about 50 miles shy and slept like a rock. Dammit, its cold here, glad I didnt ride the other bike.

I have the laptop hooked up in the room.. webcam is next.....

This is Heaven, just got in to Dallas last night. Its nice to have my feet back on the ground, that flying is crazy, especially when the dramamine wears off.

Im with Animal and Elsewhere right now, just waiting for the crew to get in from the airport. XW just called to let us know they are in route.

Im about to runnoff to the store to get some goodies for my room. I'll be back to update you later.

I'm currently stuck at the Hyatt Regency at DFW Airport taking a deposition. Will be winging it on over to the Bradford Suites as soon as it's over.

Thirsty....very thirsty for beer.

I will be arriving at 9:00pm today... It's almost 3:00pm and I haven't started packing... I better go and check out what the heck I'm going to wear... I have to check the weather in Dallas... It's over 70 degrees here (Orlando, Florida) and about to rain...

Howdy everyone

Nina and I were late. We dropped off the badges at 1:00 p.m. (sorry but we got hung up dropping Bill's clothes off at Dallas Life) at the front desk. They are in alphabetical order. The funny thing was the gal at the front desk looked at the first badge and said, "Is someone here really named "Animal?" So we explained the situation, but they still looked at us like we were square eggs. Then someone wanted to know if we also had a motorcycle. I think you made a big impression on them Animal!

Sorry we missed you guys, but they said everyone who was already there had gone out. I left a message.

My overall thoughts are as follows and then some personal comments to everyone I can remember being there...*LOL* I was a bit apprehensive when I first started putting this together, because I know what parties can be like when there are strong personalities and alchohol. Well it turns out that this was not to be worried as our strong personalities only made each other more uplifted and happy to be there. Friday night was great fun and I really enjoyed just sitting around and talking to everyone, which is what I like doing anyway...the only bonus was I could look at all your smiling faces and know that the person behind the handle was real and not a fig newton of my immagination. I think the hotel people were not naieve, nor was this their first rodeo. Hence, putting us some place we could all party and be noisy or whatever it is we wanted to do. Dinner was good as we went to Sal's Taco lounge for a good nibble and more beer....We then went dancing at Club Clearview in Deep Ellum where each and everyone had a good time, while some of the others stayed at the hotel to hold down the fort and recieve any late comers. BTW, I really liked seeing some of our folks sitting down by the lobby in their areas for a chat. It proves several points I am really too tired to cover or care about anyway. Now then...Saturday arrived and after much trial and tribulation with restuarants in Dallas, bad weather previously, long flights and leaky airplanes we all came together for a wonderfull meal of meat, merriment, corporal punishment, and fine spiritual provision directed by my personal spank machine and soon to be object of revenganza..eheh Dinner went well with few exceptions and everyone paid as far as I know. The lovely Catholic school girl was in charge of the cash, seeing as she counts monies as part of her vocation. It all tallied and everyone was happy. Thanks to xw for the big cake and helping us all celebrate our birthdays together. This means a lot to me along with my presents, my beaded decanter, my stuff from Houston, beer coasters from guvTruckerGB, my smurf pin from the Canadian Woody Wood Pecker, DFW's fine magnet work, my bottle of Belgian Corsendonk from megs my man, my What beer of the new Kansas Overbeer pr_capone ( I told him he could be in charge of Kansas as no one else wanted the job, *LOL*), the smiles hugs, kisses, pinches, leers, looks of happiness and all the rest that was bestowed upon me and didn't stop until much later in the eve or do we call that morning? Well Sunday arrived too soon and we all at Denny...I mean at AT Denny's...eheh for breakfast and fuel to keep us going full steam which we did...Many of us went to Stroker's Biker Bar for drinks and a little dancing (pr_capone is the REAL PIMP) here...dancin fool! Great place that welcomed us with open arms...nice bikes too huh? Well we then retired to my girlfriend's house for real Mexican food...TruckerGB cooked the rics and Liz and I made crispy chicken tacos, warmed up the frijoles, made quacamole and had it w/homemade hot sauce...BTW all you 12 or so who decided to come to her house, she says thanks and she looks forward to meeting you all again very soon...Especially SLOAN I think for one reason or another...eheh....Tha lasted into the early morn and alas Monday was upon us like the day after Barmageddon indeed...I got up late and got ahold of TruckerGB as this was his first visit to an American city...he wanted the tour....We went to my house first for conversation and a tiffin or tea for you blokes that got no clue eh? We tiffed and then headed out for a stroll around downtown and then over to a local downtown pub where they have good cigars and pub...He then got to visit where I worked and chilled at the computer lab while I squeaked nearly voiceless to my class...*LOL* I told xenawarrior I was sounding awfully like an Apostate Hag(TM). Well after that we went to the Gas Pipe (smoke shop/head shop) for some cigars for his upcoming journey back accross the pond. Returning to my house for a quick look at the board and some of that good wheat beer we officially shut down the Apostafest last night about 11PM, not able to get any more beer down the gullet, when I returned him to his room and the comfort of his room...fittingly enough I was given the remaning snacks and beer left over...You know brothers and sisters I will put it to good use and never disappoint.

Little Toe, sir it was truly a pleasure to have you travel so far to see us kilt and all mate. I think the thing I like best about you, besides the fact you didn't complain when I pinched your bare bum...*LOL* The other thing is your smile, quick with and the way your eyes scrunch up when you laugh or you have a big grin on your face...oh and I think you were making Liz all hot and bothered with that sexy wink of yours..
