Well, I don't think we'll be eating at Trail Dust...I would prefer none of them myself at this point...here's the letter they got via email after my last phone call w/them...not to worry though, I'm on it like white on rice! I'll have a new place for us to dine by tommorrow or so. This was sent to their group sales people.
Just dropping you a line...well hopefully you will read and respond to this one seeing as you didn't respond to my first query, which would be my first complaint.
I made reservations for more than 50 people at your Dallas Composite Drive location for March 1st. Your store manager was supposed to get back to me about the location's lack of a liquor license and how we could work around that...It didn't happen on the day that that was supposed to, as of the close of a regular business day, so I called back myself. I'm informed that I can call back before March 1st about them having gotten it back...Uh yeah. I had also inquired as to whether we could bring our own alchohol, in the event your liquor license was still revoked (This should have given me a clue). The answer was NO. My question to you is do you often turn down 50 people or more who simply want alchohol w/their dinner? Perhaps if I had made a reservation for 500 your staff might have been a little more interested in my/our business? Unfortunately this hasn't been the case, but the more unfortunate thing is one of your own. That being you lose way over $1000 in business, just on food! And why? Becasue of your GM's lack of willingness to compromise or work with me. Sorry to cancel my res, but I need communication to be a two way street, instead of it being MY PLEASURE to eat at YOUR restuarant. Got a clue yet?!! Have a nice day.

Well let's think about this. Are we locked into a steakhouse? Is there someplace around town that would handle 50 people, not allow dancing, have a liquor license and have a little Texas flavour to it? I'm not familiar with Addison, but is there anything up there?
