I'm glad Hamptonite posted your post. I am in full agreement with you. I live in a state that already requires reporting by clergy, California, and I am happy about that. If everyone involved with Silentlambs is concerned about children getting molested, it baffles me why they don't lobby to get the laws changed in their own state. Maybe, they are and just don't post about it as much as marchs, press conferences, etc, I dunno.
