I have never set out to intentionally offend anyone. I don't overly worry about it either. I am here stating my views just like anyone else, I would hope people would take anything written here with a grain of salt.

I do sort of worry in that if they are questioning something, and thinking about leaving, that being here and reading some things that people say might lend credence to the anti-apostate rhetoric that the JW's give out. They like people to believe that Apostates are close minded raving loonies. So the people who are here, really looking for answers, and all they get is berated by people who can be down right mean at times, I worry about offending them. BUT ONLY THEM! Not the close minded JW's who are only here to stir up anger, I will roast them any day of the week. That goes for anyone who is just here to make angry noise.

The question is way too generalized. Do I care that JWs are offended if I show them the truth? No. Do I care if they are offended if I call them braindead when they act braindead? No. Do I care if they get offended when they see curse words? Hell no! What planet do they live on, anyway? There are many children in elementary schools who use words worse than they'll see on this board, and dub's children hear those words every day. I heard those words in elemetary schools back in the early 1960's. This is not to mention the fact that many dubs routinely curse like sailors when they can get away with it. Hypocrites!

Do I care if they are looking for any reason to be "offended" so they can have a convenient excuse to avoid seeing the facts they don't want to see about their religion? No. Those kind of folks are braindead and enjoy being braindead. To hell with them.

If you want to be more specifc with your question, the please feel free.

Here's a question: Do JWs give a single rat f they offend one of their very own by their shunning, or self-righteous judgements they routinely pass on their own brothers every day? Shit no, they don't. Do they care in the least that they can say right to the face of one of their former very own, "you are a dog returning to your own vomit," (like my former "best JW friend" said to me)? Shit no, they don't. They don't have a problem saying those things to their parents, siblings, children or anyone else when they have the chance.

JWs are the biggest whiner-hypocrites in the world. They aren't getting back half of what they've dished out and they deserve every bit of what they get.

Lets see. A good many of us come here to find kinship with others who have also suffered from the emotional and psychological damage the adherents of this religion have wrecked upon our lives. Many of us have spent years trying to rid ourselves of the institutionalized guilt, low-self esteem, and anti-socialism the WTS ideology promotes. Many of us finally have found some solace and affirmation in the similarity of our incredible circumstances at the hands of this religion and the people it creates. Many of us have/are SHUNNED or treated horribly by our loved ones who follow this religion, so that THEY have cut off any real potential for our offending them: theyve simply shut us out.

And the implication is that WE should be somehow WORRIED about offending THEM??? As a group, they are some of the LEAST concerned people about offending individuals, other relgious and/or cultural beliefs: they don't care WHO they knock in order to support their agenda.

Right. I'm really worried about offending them. What a laugh

Now that you have a wide range of viewpoints/answers to your questions, will you bless us with a return to your thread to offer rebuttals, counterpoints, comments, or a demonstration of some sort that you care one whit about the answers you've been given? Until then, I'm reserving my answer.
