After Six Months of Hiatus, I can tell you the Watchtower is Starting to Crumble Faster than you think!

I took a hiatus from JWN because the wall started to collapse because I lost several people I’ve known almost my entire life. These were people I thought would never die, the lies told by the Watchtower is unforgivable! There was a party I attended keeping a low profile while documenting what was said. I was sad because the numbers of JWs I know is dropping quickly. The friends at this party were sad because they said “Why has the End not come? We were the Generation that was not supposed to die so what is happening? Do you think the Organization has any business talking about Bible prophecy when we are proof their wrong?

Young JW tweens and JW teens are taking more antidepressants because of the Watchtower's unrealistic expectations that the youth throw away their lives to follow a Cult! I started to fade when we lost several people to suicide I thought were spiritual while the Elders knew they were mentally sick but refused to get them to professional help. Why are the most kind people who love Jesus leaving the Organization or accused of "fault finding" because they quested 1914 and other weird Organization teachings. I've seen more kids getting disfelowshiped for issues best not to speak about, their emotional pain, confusion and lack of direction and goals hurts! Instead of bringing comfort to our Circuits the Witch Hunt that began almost 4 years ago continues with phishing, fishing and badgering phone calls, emails and texts asking if we had any information about the Great Apostate and anyone who might be his moles. The lies the witnesses are spreading about some of the witnesses who left are nonsensical, I heard someone say he was making porn movies and seduced several elders wives and pioneers turning them to the Dark Side. I am not allowed to get their side of the story, just have faith all the stories I hear about men and women removed for disagreeing with the Organization were treated with the utmost respect. The Watchtower and the Elders are afraid because the shift of liability, lawsuits is being made clear to them that the Watchtower won't cover you if your sued! All monies are to be sent to the Watchtower while the congregations must buy liability insurance for the Elders while keeping the Kingdom Hall property in the Watchtower's name.

Instead of helping the brothers and sisters deal with the dead loved ones we got phone calls asking us to report any suspicious activity and avoid talking to certain trouble makers! That was enough for me, I heard the Web was filled with evil doers trying to slander the Watchtower and Governing body. I visited Jwfriends-net (this place) reasoning everyone was wrong and maybe I could help some return to the loving brotherhood. That was not going to be, it was in late July or early August at the Convention when my phone was ringing off the hook. Here I am at the Assembly, God’s dwelling home, a place we claim is filled with love and joy. My friend who moved away was crying o the phone after finding his little 14 year old girl passed out after taking all her mother’s anxiety, pain and sleeping pills. My friend was freaking out because this happened after giving a demonstration at the District Convention about “staying strong and alert and guarding your family (some bogus rubbish)” I began to wobble, if his daughter felt so much anxiety and guilt and choking pressure to perform something is wrong with the Organization!

His son (one of the twins finally) finally said he was homosexual and now the Kingdom Hall is treating this once pillar like family like they are carriers of leprosy or Ebola! I can’t believe how shallow and two-faced the Witnesses everywhere are, they are shunning each other even though the shunners are in good standing (A kingdom divided?). The more I fought to disprove all the claims on jwn, the more it was obvious I was in a Cult!

I read posts that proved that Witnesses can spend their lives serving a concept but once they are of no value, quickly brushed off like garbage! That’s what woke me up from my “thirty year spiritual slumber”, why would anyone join a religion willing to spend 100x the energy of hunting down Apostates or perceived congregation threats while ignoring the kids, teenagers , young adults and elderly witnesses because “we wish we could help the brothers but there’s not enough time in the day!”

I think a hard, central core of Witnesses will remain active no matter what. However, the bulk will become even more token in their "service" and lost forever will be the wider appeal the Witnesses' "kingdom" message once had in the west that resulted in huge growth rates - particularly among people first contacted through the old door-to -door work.Nowadays what growth there is stems mainly from born-ins, with fewer and fewer coming in from field service. This organization is rapifly ageing and getting well past its use-by date.

One of the true hallmarks of a CULT is that they manipulate their followers into working for free to bring in new prospects. Then when they are no longer able to do this they are discarded like last week's garbage. Anyone dumb enough to stay in the JWs will find this out the hard way.

The good news is this organization WILL fall apart, if only to become a fraction of what it is today. The bad news is, the human suffering by our families and former associates is only going to get worse in that cult

It is certainly true that here in the U.K, in Europe and in the U.S the growth is coming from born-ins, many of whom are children of born-ins.

This really makes for an incredible amount of abysmally ignorant people, not really their fault, they have been denied access to real information, real knowledge, real education, and, equally importantly, real people.

This will make it harder for the JW's to make converts from the general populace. I remember a guy coming to few Meetings years ago, and he didn't take things further, when asked why he said "Because it is all so incredibly silly !".

I think that will be the reaction more and more to the very ill-informed message that they take to people, and if anyone takes a slightly deeper look, like the guy above, they will say to themselves "What a bunch of weirdo's " and "how silly is that", and then move on.

Youngsters will wake up, and just stay for the social side if they stay at all.

All of this makes for an Organisation that is crumbling from within, and has no strength to withstand what may be hurled at it from outside.

Now there's the Truth- the wt is so incredibly silly.

Individuals have the obligation to be self-responsible and support their families, and offer help as they are able. That's it!

Your life is for you to enjoy. Nobody owns your life but you.

I love this quote from Steve Jobs. It has so many applications that highlight the destructive nature of the WT mindset:

    .

"Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." -- Steve Jobs
