What is the best advise you have ever been given?

    Unfortunately, I failed to appreciate the best advice I was ever given. It was given to me by my father at the same time that I agreed to a "free home bible study" with the JWs:

    - his advice was that , to quote, "Religion is like whisky and beer, you can do without it."

    Oh my, was he right!

    Best advice I ever had: Resentment and jealousy are the most destructive of emotions. Avoid like the plague!

    My Therapist said get yourself DF'd or DA'd, and then move far away from where you now live, start a completely new life.

    I think that was fine advice, I was not able to follow it fully, at least, not yet, but I still think it is the best advice I have had in recent years.

    People treat you the way you teach them to treat you.

    Make your boundaries clear. Enforce them.

    The above was given to me by my Commercial Art teacher, Aubrey Mayhew in 1965.
