Just as well if I dont bother with their delusional shite. Ill prolly be dead before armageddy.

If all the pedos and Hitlers and Eichmanns and Torquemadas, Vlad the impalers are getting a free ride into the Panda Petting Paradise, why shouldnt I when all Ive done is find out and prove how much of their teachings are lies. isnt Jehoobie a lover of truth and righteousness??

Why do witnesses see a chance every time a person dies, to use it as an opportunity to preach about the "new world"?!

Why not just grieve the loss like a normal person!?

    "Ah, skeeter, Hitler commited suicide."

Thanks for reminding me. I was of the conspiracy theories, that he might still be alive (dead now) as "Only the good die young."

I don't see this as insensitive at all. The resurrection hope that they have allows them to rationalize away the need to feel sad. It's misguided, but it's simply what they believe. Lots of people rationalize; "it was just his time to go"; "God has another angel in heaven now"; etc. And who are the JWs supposed to be sensitive to? They're not talking to the family and friends of Williams, after all, just each other.

I get such a kick out of people who think they know who will get this or that after we die !

I am sure that none of them have weve been able to interview someone who has died! Nor are they qualified to make a judgment about anyone.

But they are in an organization that has their members always judging each other.

I am so sad Robin was in such a bad place that he took his life, He will be missed.

Oh, so now the Dubs are saying those that commit suicide will now have everlasting life? I remember when they said that was a definite no-no, no everlasting life you if you take your own life, when did this new light come about?

Sick, but sadly logical in their warped world view.

Somehow I don't think Robin William's brand of humor will be welcome in a place run by JW's. For a good example google "Robin Williams on Viagra and oral sex," but don't do it at work.

Apo, granted that is their take on what they say. Yet, they are so wrapped up in their insularity they choose not to see how it affects those who just want to be allowed to grieve unmolested by being exposed to others' beliefs.

Empathy is the capacity to put yourself in others shoes and feel what their pain must be like.

Dogma is the insulation that stops you ever needing to empathize.

As far as the whole suicide/resurrection thing...

There was a question from readers about that some years ago. They said it is "up to Jehovah" but there is some reason to think they will be resurrected.

The example given was a situation in the Old Testament where some soldiers (?) killed themselves and God commended the men who took their bodies and buried them. Thus showing them honor - in spite of killing themselves.

So the reasoning was that only Jah knows what was in that persons heart and if appropriate he would/could resurrect them so therefore an elder could give a talk upon their death in our time today.

That was the gist, sorry I dont have a link or remember more specifics.
