The Evangelicals will jump on this bit of science to bolster their faith in being with Jesus for eternity. A bit of theorectical science to get out of caring for this earth, our one and only home.

In this respect Evangelicals are very much like our former religion, JWs care little about this earth now, and make only token efforts to address pollution. After-all the 'real life' begins in the next phase....

For God’s true believers, the work of evangelism is obedience to Jesus Christ’s great command to ‘Go out into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature’ (Luke 16:15).

That was for the first centruy believers who witnessed everythign Christ said . Fully accomplished in their generation, the testimony of that is in the scriptures

There is no hell , Jesus won the victory over death once and for all time, he has the keys (symbolic metaphor). SO now all those who are in Christ will never die, the revealing of him within testifies to that to all who surrender to him, not through the wriiten word, which is the testimony of him but the living word within , then you will enjoy the pure language, the bread (being taught by him) not the milk ( the written word) The reconcilation of ALL things is and will take place. You are saved whether you recognise yet him or not. THe work of believers since that first generation is to walk in love and mercy through him in you. Surrendering yourself is to rid ourselves of all we think is true outside of him, the layers upon layers placed in you and the unveiling of him comes within

There is no man made definition of it, continually looking for the fleshly definitions of things unseen, he cannot be revealed, we have to go to the source to know. If you truly want to know then go to him and have it out with him, soem get it straight away, others go through anguish to remove the things of the world from within, our choice is to search for him or not. There you find real freedom when it is unveiled within you. It cannot be found in a church or anything made built by human hands. You are the temple in which he will dwell

In other words your answer is No, there is no science behind your views.

At least Perry gave science a stab in the dark. Never mind it was all pulled and hacked from context, but at least give Perry a E for effort.

Connecting the double-split experiment - or any aspect of theoretical physics - with theism, is a classsic case of grasping at straws.

    justgivemealittletime,

It is easy and tempting to extrapolate these findings into all kinds of metaphyical ideas, many of which are not biblical. There is plenty of that on the internet. The double slit experiments are just a very small window into the kind of universe that we actually live in. It confirms much of what the bible says.

But, I believe it also confirms other cliche's that float around as wisdom such as:

    1. Mind over matter

    2. when the student is ready, the teacher shall appear

    3. You are what you think

    etc., etc., etc.

I believe the main thing it confirms is the formative and creative power of faith/belief/observation. ("What are you seeing O son of man"?) I believe that when this spirit is directed/committed to God the father, through the blood of his Son (ALONE), then his creative mind meets us somewhere and an eternal connection is made that cannot be broken.

The scriptures are clear that the choices we make here on this earth, in this body, have eternal consequenses.

This particular judgment below, is ONLY for believers, their salvation is not on the table here. It is the BEMA seat judgment. Yet, believers are still judged.

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2 Cor. 5:10

Believers are judged for things "done in his body" because the moment they fully trust in Jesus, they are given a new spirit that CANNOT sin. Only then are "you" beyond the reaches of judgment. When believers follow this new identity / principle, they do not sin. When they don't, they do.

What we do, and the choices we make always matter. Thankfully, faith in the blood of Jesus makes us legally righteous.
