I downloaded the files and skipped through them with a lot of fastforward which made it hard to pick up on any specific quote or misquote, however I figured the only talks that might have an opportunity for someone to stray from the outline (more often manuscripts now) would be a GB or Bethel "Heavy" and this talk title captured my attention so I listened to it in its entirety. While the talk was filled with ridiculous illogical statements, the "obligatory" homosexuality was the most absurd. I guess that means that gays are going to MAKE straights have gay sex?
Sadly, the brain-dead and mind-controlled will sit there and nod quietly when stupid-ass things like this are said. The other dumbass things, well.....just pale in comparison.

Compare that to what Charles Taze Russell, the founder of their Watchtower magazine and Society, had to say about inventions. He claimed they pointed to the Seventh Day or Millennium! LOL Read the foreward of "The Times Is At Hand."

Just because something is said from the platform, doesn't mean it's fact....
It is as if the formality of the speaker or occasion makes the listeners attribute more credibility to what is said!

It's not a good way to measure progress "in this world." It is a good way to measure the progress of the Organization. Hence the trashing of 'worldly' technological advancements while bigging up any technology the Org. has made use of.
