Totally agree Just Kidding - I must have been doing the bare minimum and the small congregation still appointed me. I was actually quite shocked when they told me.
I only wish I had found JWN before then, because I would have certainly turned it down if I had known. They didn't really even give me the opportunity to refuse, just ambushed me in the back of a car before the meeting.
