  Thank you,justhuman14. I got so carried away with my rant that i actually forgot the 9/11 fiasco.

  I cannot for the life of me see how tower 7,yes building 7 all 500+ feet of it fell into its own footprint at freefall speed even though no planes hit it. It was reported by the bbc as having collapsed a full 30 minutes before it actually did,and could be seen standing in the background while Jane Standley reported. The 9/11 commission refused to investigate building 7 as it was not in their remit to do so. So for the 1st time in history a steel framed building( which was on fire) fell down completely into its own footprint even though no other steel framed building anywhere,ever has done that without demolition charges.For anyone to believe that some office fires that were being successfully fought by the fire brigade could melt huge steel beams simultaniously all over this giant building and cause a symmetrical collapse is to return to the realms of fantasy,which is what most of us on this forum have just escaped from. look at the physics, it couldn't have happened the way they said.

  For a govt to do that to itself,to its own people,for the reasons it did, has to be one of the most wicked things that any government has done.There are plenty of other contenders,the nazi's what mao did,what stalin did,what pol pot did. Look at who was in charge of the neocon administration, Chaney,Rumsfeld,wolfowiz and bush. Look at the london underground bombings, what a total farce, without a doubt an inside job. Once people get past the mental barrier that their government is actualy their most serious enemy,then a whole new reality emerges.

  Remember how you felt when you found out that the watchtower was in bed with the UN. I foolishly told a sister i met in a shop,she actually put her hands over her ears and started shaking her head saying "its not true,they wouldn't do that" her reaction had no bearing on whether the infomation was true or not. She just decided to not believe it. Same with people who believe the govt line on things like 9/11. their belief has no bearing on whether its true or not,its just their belief. Psalm 146 v3 do not put your trust in nobles ( leaders)and mortals. and i never will again.

  It burned out of control with no fire fighting until its steel frame gave way and it collapsed. No mystery, no conspiracy.

  The American govt. did not cause September 11th. I was there. Bldg 7. In fact, I saw all the buildings go down with my own eyes out the window. I was certain my mom was going to die downtown. We could not believe how the bldgs did not topple over. You need a lot more proof. Admissible proof. I will not pretend I did not read such garbage. The FBI and CIA were in those towers. Not to mention all the hard currency. I spoke with my local fire house and the police a few days later. Also, Jews did not cause 9.11. No one skate boarded to safety down the stairwells. I was in those bldgs four and five times a day for years.

  It is scary to realize that only a few people may have been responsible for such a catastrophe. In fact, I vividly recall Jack Kennedy's assasination. Never have I heard credible evidence about a conspiracy. What is clear is that the Warren Comm'n failed to convince Americans of its findings. Earl Warren was not secret about his anger. He felt the Court lost legitimacy b/c of his chairmanship.

  I saw dead bodies brought to Bellevue with a special escort. When I realized what it was, I was not certain what to do. We saluted the convoy. I walked past thousands of flyers for the missing at Bellevue every day. The morgue was on the side.

  The new building looks very nice from the exterior. I am not going inside.

  There can be no such thing as "The World View" because there is no "World" as a sentient, opinion-owning thing. It is a conceptual

  construct.

  Billions of people would have to be interviewed and asked exactly the same question in the same way and their answers

  collated and arranged by nuance into a final list and tabulated for the Topic Question to be answered.

  Even then, what would the answer represent?

  America is evenly divided between Republican ideology and Democrat ideology. Even America has no "opinion" which reflects anything

  other than a 50/50 answer.

  AMERICA is 300 million different things and not just one.

  Don't confuse politicians with "representitives" of the "people's will".

  How many people actually vote?

  See what I'm saying?

  This entire discussion is fraudulent as to context vis a vis the Topic.

  Have you ever read DeTocqueville? My spelling may be off. He was a Frenchman who toured America shortly after Independence. I am reading his work currently. He described an American character. It is eery b/c it seems accurate to this day. The regional differences were described, too. Early Americans did not trust New Yorkers. Once upon a time I could recall the details. I found it humorous. Maybe certain types of people selected cities based on the place's reputation.

  When I read about France vs. England, certain stereotypes seem true over long periods of time.

  I recall that Margaret Mead married an English anthropologist, Bateson. Their contribution to the war effort was to explain the differences between English and American lifestyles. All the romances were turning out bad. They used their own marriage as a lab.

  I recently visited America and found the people to be polite and mostly charming.

  I do struggle to get my head around the argument against healthcare for all - I believe that healthcare should be a right, not a privlidge only for those who can afford it. Here is Oz we have the Medicare system - which isn't perfect, but pretty good in that every single person in the country, regardless of wealth, can access health care if they need to. I think this is a good thing, and can't get my head around the idea in America where so many believe that health care is in fact a privlidge, not a right. This makes me feel a bit sad.

  The prescription drug situation in America is a bit scary to me - pharma companies being allowed to advertise prescription drugs I think is so wrong and is turning Doctor's simply into legal drug dealers. Also the price that American's have to pay for drugs when they do need them is scary also. I can't imagine needing a particular drug due to illness, but simply not being able to afford it, so therefore not being able to take it. :(

  I think the people for the most part are great, very warm, open, friendly etc. However there is still a lot of ignorance there with many Americans not knowing anything outside of their country. This is more the fault of the governments (current and past) and systems in place than the individuals. My opinion only of course :)
