It astonishes me that supposedly loving people can resort to these kinds of threats...and yet, without wishing to offend, the prophets of old thundered threats to all manner of people, including vengeance from God. From one view, it's like they are trying to bring (perceived) apostates to their senses - otherwise why stir things up by breaking the organization's rules and communicating with ex-Witnesses. Whatever their motivation, their logic is screwy.

It should not really surprise anyone that JW's respond with hateful, vengeful messages. They learned it from the God of the OT! And they are his 'Witnesses" right?

    Just saying!

    Watchtower 1952 10/1 p. 599 par. 11 A Strong Refuge Today

"Haters of God and his people are to be hated, but this does not mean that we will take any opportunity of bringing physical hurt to them in a spirit of malice or spite, for both malice and spite belong to the Devil, whereas pure hatred does not. We must hate in the truest sense, which is to regard with extreme and active aversion, to consider as loathsome, odious, filthy, to detest. Surely any haters of God are not fit to live on his beautiful earth. The earth will be rid of the wicked "

I checked out the JW guy as he's my countryman, and guess what?! He "likes" porn models! LOLLEST. I only hope Bree Olson doesn't get destroyed with you apostates, it would be such a pity for Chijioke if she doesn't make Paradise!

Does that mean it's OK to hurt physically hurt people as long as it's not in a spirit of malice or spite?

If you incite a group towards hate long enough a few will get radicalized.

Alas, I feel left out. As yet, nobody hates on me.
