How Jehovah's Witnesses benefit those humble enough to study the Bible with them.

Excellent material can be found within the Reasoning Book, page 328, para.2, 3. Occasionally, I see posters make presumptuous comments like, "all you need is the Bible", or, "I'm born-again, so there's no need for spiritual assistance from another Christian", or,"I'm saved", or my favorite, "Jesus talks to me directly. " On one hand, I can't be overly critical of such ones because they do attempt to read and understand the Bible on their own. (Acts 17:11) Not to mention they're generally peaceable folks, just self-misguided when erroneously believing that they can go it alone. Jesus already set the guidelines for us regarding individual worship,(Matt 18:20), as did Paul.-Heb 10:24,25. It's important to take those verses into account because very few people can maintain integrity without the support of those that share the same beliefs as do they. By spending time with fellow Christians, one will be more inclined to live up to the requirements and standards par with the territory of walking that narrow road.

Back to those still learning or even those somewhat familiar with the Scriptures, such as the Born-Agains, and those with a Christ Sim Card, it would be disastrous for ones to believe they don't need assistance. Remember, even though the Boroeans made sure that what they were being taught was accurate, never forget that they were still being taught by seasoned and appointed teachers in the form of imperfect men, that being, Paul and Silas. Similarly today, it never ceases to amaze me that so many Jehovah's Witnesses were formally of other denominations or ones who formerly on an individual basis declared themselves to be of a certain train of thought or belief. Apparently, when they were exposed to the teachings taken directly from the Bible as discussed with Scriptural supplements in the form of books like, What Does the Bible Really Teach, or brochures such as, Who Are Doing Jehovah's Will Today?, or the tract being featured in a current campaign, Can the Dead Really Live Again?, they realized that some if not all of their major beliefs were false. Thankfully, they were humble enough to accept truth according to the Scriptures and adapt their mindset.

Why is it that what we do is Scriptural and beneficial to the public? Remember the Ethiopian Eunuch reading the Scriptures but not fully grasping what he was reading? Yeah, I bet you do, just as I know that you know what happened next. That's right, under angelic direction, Philip sought out this man in need of spiritual assistance and brought him up to speed on The Truth as it was known in its limited scope for that time. We're doing the same today, that is assisting those humble enough to acknowledge their plight, and you can't criticize Jehovah's Witnesses for that. If anything, people should be grateful, however, Jesus already forewarned what the public response would be-Matt 11:16-19Regardless, we'll continue to press on assisting that need help to understand the Scriptures accurately with the Bible based literature provided under God's direction.

stand: your confusing two differnt things. i am a born again christian who believes all of the bible, i go to church, i preach the gospel with other christians. the differance is we have the holy spirit to teach us read 1 john chapter 2 whole chapter. what does john mean when he says the holy spirit will teach us, hence we dont need to be taught by ppl? your problem is you know the wt is at least unfaithful to gods word, thats why ur here. if they are faothful to gods word, why are you being unfaithful to them by being here? you will never have credabilty here because your being a hypocrite. how can you tell the ppl here to come and worship as a jw when you are not being faithful in what is least. thats like a porn star preaching to ppl to only have sex when ur married with only your mate. hyopcrites are easily seen. please trust god at his word and put your trust in jesus not a man centered religion.

As indicated in the misguided post itself, JWs don't study the Bible with their victims. They study Watch Tower Society publications, which cherry-pick scriptures to suit their own doctrinal bias. Scriptures that are problematic for their doctrines are simply avoided.

As I and others have proven many times, the entire basis for the Watch Tower Society's claim of authority is based on lies, because it is a simple fact that their beliefs about the years 607 BCE and 1914—which are crucial in the JWs' doctrinal framework—are entirely wrong.

Stand for Pure Worship can you tell me if a person can really know for sure with scriptural proof to confirm that they have eternal life now?

Studying Watchtower publications with Jehovah's Witnesses leads to dysfunctional & destroyed family relationships.

This is not an insult, just a mere ovservation. From reading the tone of SFPW's various posts, SFPW is a woman in her early twenties with much to prove about herself. I hope that life experience over time will humble her.

    2 Timothy 3:16-17

    Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

16 All Scripture is inspired by God [ a ] and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. Here the bibe says we dont need any other publications, it also says "do not go beyond what is written."

    Romans 15:20

    Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

20 My aim is to evangelize where Christ has not been named, so that I will not build on someone else’s foundation, Here Paul talks of not evangelizing on someone elses foundation, so why do JW"S??

    Romans 8:1

    Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

8 Therefore, no condemnation now exists for those in Christ Jesus, [ a ]

Paul also said there would be Sects among you so the righteous can manifest themselves. And Jesus said the Kingdom of God is like a large net catching all sorts of fish. So SFPW, stop exalting your religion because Jesus said not to do this either, but of course you dont need to do what christ tells you to do because you have Jehovah.

Hey SFPW....all of us can say with confidence that you would never admit to reading and posting on what all faithful JW's would say is an "apostate" site. But the fact that you come here secretly out of the sight of your fellow worshipers and interact with those who have found out by one way or another that the WT is just another false religion, is a clear indication that you truly DON'T believe in Jehovah's existence. If you did you would shudder that he observes your behavior and disapproves just the same as he would if you secretly viewed a porn site or engaged in fornication without a twinge of guilt. Your visits to this site and posting makes it clear that you don't think he exists.

Congrats! As a lifelong born in JW...I read and post here too knowing jehovah doesn't exist either...that's after careful research and fact finding...I openly curse at him like Jobs wife said he should do..and be killed...but I'm still here...alive and well....

    More power to you!
