    Tried to read it all the way thru but it makes my stomach hurt!

    Are you sure you really love this person??????????

    Just tell everyone that brings it up about your time in service that you do not report because jesus said in matt that your left hand should not know what your right hand is doing with reguards to any kind of giving.

    I think that option 2 would keep you off the hot seat for a while. At least until you get on your feet and in your parents house. Put in a few hours. This will keep everyone off your back.

    Start turning in time.

    Ok so it got a bit more complicated now... another elder from a Spanish congregation somehow got my cell phone number and called me. Thankfully I was busy at the time and it went to VM... He just said they want to "talk to me".... What about, I don't know.

    So... Here's my plan:

    1. Send an e-mail to the congregation in city B... sorry, been super busy travelling everywhere and don't know where I will sleep the night sometimes (true)... so that's why I didn't know what to do in regards to the service time. Now I will report service time here until I actually know where I will be in city B. Sorry... here are the hours for the past couple months:

    Blah blah

    Blah blah blah

    2. Tell my dad to tell the elder from the congregation in his city that we're all cool... problem solved (so that we assume that it is only about the hours)... and that if necessary that I will talk to congregation in city B.

    3. Apologize to GF's dad. (BTW, he chose to go to the US and left the family back in the Phillipines for a couple of years, because he would make more money there. Now they're in Canada. So he has no real right to criticize me because of being "materialistic")

    4) From now on, keep reporting time. Once per month. Done... should keep me away from problems.

    Side note: I talked to my GF. She said she was planning to come out of JW's as soon as she can live on her own. We agreed that whether our relationship works or not in the future, that her decision of leaving the JW's have NOTHING to do with me, since it is a very painful decision to make and I don't want to feel obligated to continue the relationship because of that. JW's and our relationship should be separate topics.

    Anyways... hope that keeps me off the radar for a while...

    Report 6.66 hours per month.

    For you and for your GF

    @rebel8: How about 19.14 hours, then 19.15, then 19.25, 19.75... hahahaha

    @LouisLane: THANKS!!

    Sorry but I have to chime in with just walk away from it. It is just kicking the can down the road to fake staying in.

  • ILoveTTATT

    5go, I can't... I want to try and save my family. Already I have had success with my dad, and want to have the same success with my mom. I want to fade as much as possible AND try to slowly open up my mom's mind as much as possible.

    Ideally we would all (my GF's family AND my family) get out of the JW religion.

    For now, it is a loving thing to stay in, and bear up with all the crap...

    If I had nothing to lose, it would be SAYONARA!! in a NY minute. I'd make SURE I'd go out with all guns blazing
