And the ONLY needy he fed were those who were his followers!

What a selective and self-serving interpretation of the gospels. When Jesus gave the illustration of the Samaritan helping the Jew, what message was he trying to convey?

I've known a few JWs who will do charity work. But the majority of them will use the new order as a sort of 'get out of jail free card' to avoid anything charitable. The reasoning is that god will fix everything in his own time, so they don't need to do anything now to help others.

    Hahahahhahahahahahhhaaahahahahahhahahah ...oh er..sorry

"So you can be sure that the vast majority of any money donated to the WTS ends up going directly to pay for literature and disaster relief. No other religions organization can make this claim."

    >

No other religion would have the audacity to make this claim!!!!!!!

But Jesus also never organized shelters or "Benevolence funds."

True... Jesus never did that, but the first century apostles DID. Remember the "daily distribution" in which the Greek-speaking Jews' widows were being overlooked and which the apostles had seven certified men appointed to take care of? (Acts 6:1-5)

Sorry... I haven't heard of any charity set up by the WT, local or abroad.

I would even think it is not an exaggeration to say that the WT would raise an eyebrow if the members join their community relief or rescue groups. It would be seen as a waste of time.

Actually there is one charity, Aidafrique. I found a thread about this that dates back from 2001: http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/15284/1/AidAfrique-NGO-WT-UN#.UkxCk9KRXms

They are not follwing Jesus at all. Jesus did not teach about the Bible or any Bible based literature. He taught only about Jehovah God and for humans to love each other. This included loving everyone, also your enemies.

The witnesses don't love anyone. Not even each other corrcetly. The Society is an indifferent, cold and loveless entity and teaches it's followers ot be the same.

TotallyADD asks: "How do we know that 90% of all their donations go to printing maz. and books and helping fellow JW during disaster?"

Notice the wording of their statement:

The W(atch) T(ower) S(ociety) uses 90%+ of all donations to disaster relief and printing Bibles and bible aids!! Jehovah's Witnesses have no monetary objectives and no individual benefits financially from donations given to the WTS. So you can be sure that the vast majority of any money donated to the WTS ends up going directly to pay for literature and disaster relief. No other religions organization can make this claim.

It's all balderdash, but not necessarily a lie. With no obligation to explain their statistics, I am confident that they consider housing, clothing, feeding, travel expenses and virtually anything connected to the corporation as part of that "90%+." So if a GB member is flown to an assembly in Honolulu, his new suit, his wife's new dress, the hotel and the flight, are all "directly" paying for encouraging the members to get and distribute the literature.

" Jehovah's Witnesses have no monetary objectives and no individual benefits financially from donations "

Wrong !!!!! The individual Governing Body members live better than the rank and file

" Witnesses have a fund to help both Jehovah's Witnesses and Non- Witnesses , Jehovah's Witness follow the Bible teaching to help families first "

Jehovah's Witnesses help active members first, and use disaster relief as a way to gain new recruits. Jehovah's Witnesses will not help blood relatives ( Family ) who are shunned and no longer believe the spin from Brooklyn

" We also point them to secular arrangements "

Correct !!! Jehovah's Witnesses use the same secular charities and organizations they will not contribute too

such as Blood fractions they can recieve and emergency aid from the Red cross

" You don't see any Jehovah's Witness widows and Orphans homeless, begging on the street or lacking any material need "

Thanks to the secular arrangements many Jehovah's Witness widows and orphans recieve food , clothes and shelter

" People primarily called Jesus a "Teacher " not a healer" or "benefactor"

This "teacher" Jesus was also a healer and those who put faith in him can benefit from the sacrifice he made

" The "Great Comission" by Christ was not " give to the poor or go build hospitals , schools, orphanages, old folks homes.

    He said "Go make diciples"

LOL. The end is near. Who needs hospitals, schools, orphanages, and homes for the aged
