The justice of God I see in the things that are to come: the restoration of all things. Not less than this is promised. And an accounting follows necessity.

Except that is not really accurate. There was acknowledgement of the Most High God before Abraham, and certainly before Israel. But Abraham had the faith to hear and to obey, and a covenant was made with him, that carried to his descendants... even though the covenant now is for anyone.

So what did A do that was so special that God was his friend and made him all those promises ? The funny thing is A is not faithful nor are there any accounts of him being especially good in the Bible. There are numerous times when he shoul dhave called jehovah for help i th ebeginning but he hides this and lets pharoah take Sarah.
