    I knew her and visited her at her home several times. She gave much of her time to do this. She has been gone from some time, and I have never seen an ex-jw do what she did in the same self-sacrificing way.

    Hotpepper, she has died at this point in time. But if she were alive, she would thank you.

    My goodness is there any way we could donate to send her an enormous bunch of flowers with "thank you" attached? It seems rather paltry considering everything she's done, but its the thought after all.

    Blondie Hotpepper, she has died at this point in time. But if she were alive, she would thank you.

    Edit: Oh my goodness this is very sad news indeed. im so sorry. RIP Marylyn. Thank you Blondie.

    I didn't know Marilyn, but am sorry to hear of her passing...

    Curious if Zweifel was her actual surname or was it assumed for the work she did (?)

    Zweifel = Doubt

    Ich habe meine Zweifel = I have my doubts

    TD It was her real name; she was quite a spitfire and not afraid to give her experiences. She was in a nursing home 13 years ago, not expected to leave.

    I spoke to Marilyn on the phone, what a kind, wise, wonderful woman. The phone number of 1-800-Why-1914 was a great idea.
